Bari are keen to take Celtic ace Massimo Donati back to Italy.
The newly-promoted side are under new American-based ownership and have money to spend.

Donati has emerged as a target and reports claim that Celtic are now considering a bid for the former AC Milan man.
It is claimed that Bari's sporting director Giorgio Perinetti has been in London over the last few days negotiating with Celtic.
The Bhoys have been in England for their Champions League play-off second leg with Arsenal, which they lost 3-1 on Wednesday, with Donati scoring Celtic's goal.
Whilst Bari wait on news of Donati, they have confirmed the capture of Juventus youngster Yago Falque.
The 19-year-old Spaniard has agreed a season-long loan with Bari.

Hopefully 2 million, at least what they paid for him and in a funny way he has been profitable when considering his goal against shakhtar made the last 16.
He has underachieved though but good luck if he goes.

He has underachieved? please explain, :56: i find it funny that you can say something like that without explanation.

Strachan didnt give the boy a chance, when he did play he looked good on the ball but was liable to give the odd stray pass. Does that mean we should get rid of caldwell? Brown? Mcgeady because these big players do this week in week out?

Donatis played well since the beginning of pre season under mowbray, even gave exceptational games at the heart of the defence in pre season. Given time he will turn out to be a gr8 player for the club and all you so called celtic fans will soon change your perception of what the word underachieved actually means.

    End of!

You have to be taking the *, on the wages he is on and the expectation levels when he signed he has underachieved.

Does it sound like I am taking the *?
The lad wasnt given a chance, the fans were on his back from day one and then strachan booted him out just like he did mcgeady. Donati disagreed with Strachan and that was that, never given a chance again. Ni the guys back in the squad u still wanna critisize him for underachieving?

Maybe you should think about turning over to the other side of glasgow because were I come from the team you support you are expected to actually support. Donati has not been given any support up until now. Hes letting his football do the talk now and is winning over sections of our supporters.

Nothing gives you the right to tell me who i should support. * you saying i should do that. Stupid.

I think he has underachieved, but whilst he is on the pitch wearing the jersey i will always support him or anyone. Thats what happens when you support a team of players.

I don't think the fans were on his back because he started off ok. But when you look at the fee and wages spent on him, he should be well up there in terms of performance.

am sorry but if you take his price tag and his wages into account to say he has underacheived then you have to say brown has majorly underacheived i like them both btw

N'Guemo and Brown will be first choice this season.

I won't lose any sleep about losing Donati and his massive wage.

I understand what you mean, as they were both headline grabbing signings. I just think Brown is more suited to the SPL which makes him a fans preference over Donati.

understand tho :50: they both on a lot of money

i do think donati has not been consistent in spl but truthfully he never really got many games to get used to spl and last season when he was getting games he was gettin better game by game until strach dropped him again mean while brown was getting games no matter what he did i have no doubt ther was a bit of player favourtism in strachans teams at celtic

Theres no doubt Donati and Strach falling out had an impact on the player, but my opinion is in favour of Brown, though i have to say i wanted Donati to play with Brown and compliment each other.

    Donati might not leave

mowbary has made it pretty clear what his plans are for donati. he's started every game so far, and didnt he start every game in pre-season?

if he wasnt getting his game time, then i think it would be a totally different story, but for now, i cant see him leaving

I hope he stays, since Mowbray took over, Massimo has been the best player in the squad. Like a new signing.
