Wenger refuses to condemn Eduardo


Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger refused to condemn striker Eduardo after he came under fire from Celtic's players in the Champions League clash at the Emirates. Celtic claimed Eduardo dived to win a penalty after a clash with goalkeeper Artur Boruc, recovering to set Arsenal on the way to a 3-1 win.
Arsenal's victory sent them into the Champions League group stage.

LOL ...I understand why you are defending him...He plays for your national team and that is o.k. but it was 100% diving.

 

I've honestly NEVER felt so angry as I did tonight. I have had enough of this *. Every year I watch us play in Europe we get SHAFTED!!!

1. Away to Juventus - Amoruso dived in the last minute and we lost.

2. Away to Man Utd - Ryan Giggs dived and got a penalty when we were doing so well at Old Trafford.

3. Man Utd at Parkhead - We are 1-0 up with a minute to go and Man Utd get a ridiculous penalty. Yes Boruc saved it but it was a shocking decision!

4. Villareal away - Last season we lost 1-0 away to Villareal. But they scored from a free-kick that was a complete dive! Robbed again!

5. AC Milan at Parkhead - AC Milan got a penalty at Parkhead. The cross into the box was about 20 feet over everyone's head but Naylor got done for holding on to a guy. Bollocks! Was never a penalty.

This is the 5 examples I can think of now. But I know there has been more. Is nobody getting fed up of the way we are getting * over EVERY SINGLE SEASON IN EUROPE!!!! It's not fair. I can take getting beat but I * detest being cheated and we ARE getting cheated.

yep this is horrible, to go out of the UEFACL because of someone who has obviously taken some pointers from Greg Louganis and some equally bad refereeing. Considering the penalty and how that derailed us I just wished THG had cleaned him up and fractured his other leg for symmetry
