    Fox in instead of Naylor
    N'Guemo in when Hartley left
    Fortune'e in when Jan left

The 3 players we've bought for the first team are (so far) vast improvements on what we had last season.

Cannae really complain. Hopefully they all keep it up and big Tony can bring in another couple before the window shuts

sad thing is we almost signed similar quality in those three positions plus a CB a year earlier but allegedly the money was pulled when Rangers didnt qualify for the CL. If true that cost us 4 in a row.

Calm, composed, good tackler and can get forward and pass as well.

Think he'll be one of the first names on the teamsheet for a long time

Fox has looked a real buy, especially for the pennies we picked him up for, and a definite improvement on Naylors latter-day performances.

But let's not be too hasty, or put too much pressure on the lad.

I'm sure everyone remembers what a fine first season Naylor had, before he turned into a crock of *.

He looks the part and plays the part well ,long may it continue he has a great left peg and can fire some good crosses in which defenders and goalkeepers alike hate .

There is nothing negative there. Naylor looked just as good and was getting the same praise when he first joined.

Lee was really effective when he joined us at first - and in fact his form continued right thru the season.

But you can tell just by the way Fox addresses the ball that he is on a different level technically. I'm really looking forward to seeing him play for us over the next few years.

Nayls has bags of heart - and * bless him for it.

    I agree

Ye I think hes been a great buy, & think if he keeps that up he can get a call up for Scotland, Cos he has Scottish Grand-Parents, think our national side is screaming out for a Left Back, Gary Naysmith is alright, But this guy is better..

Think all the signings this summer have been good, N'Guemo is like a magnet to the ball, he cuts out so many passes its unbelieveable, & gets stuck in, & has great passing abilty..
Fortune, Looks big & strong, good close control, great at linking up & has now added with goals.. & even Zaluska, we all know how good he is, so its been a really good summer for bringing in players, just hope we get another 1 or 2 before the Window shuts, & get rid of some of our fringe players then we should be really strong this year :icon_mrgreen:

Great left foot, gives us an option we didn't have last year with Naylors deliveries...

Liked what I've seen so far, never knock the championship for players by the way as some of the football on display there gives the premiership a run for its money anyday, he was outstanding in Coventry's back four last season their player of the year I believe for last year.

To be honest injury aside I don't see Naylor getting his 1st team berth back if he consistently shows the form he has done so far and at 23 can only get better at Celtic, I don't think we got him for pennies though didn't we pay £2million for him?

because of Naylor's history with us. imo in his first season in the hoops, i think he was one of the best left backs in Britain. he was absolutely outstanding. he was probably awarded fans MOTM for the majority of the Champions League games. after that first season his performances, for whatever reason, bombed.

i hope Fox doesn't follow suit.

Looks a quality find, extremely composed with the ball at his feet and doesn't mind sticking his foot in either. Worth well more than what we paid for him anyway put it that way.

I used to really like naylor, and I'm thinking alot of you lads did too,
nut it's hard to get behind naylor, when we have such an intelligent and forward thinking player. Some people have worries about him catching second season syndrome, the only thing i'm worried about is if a prem club tries to pick him up.

I like the look of him aswell.

At the weekend there when he ran short to pick up the ball at the corner then swung it in for McDonald's goal I thought he was going to score himself. It was almost exactly like the first bit i ever seen of him on Sky Sports News when he just signed he scored from the same position. Seems to be an allround player, can defend, attack, tackle, pass, cross, shoot, looks smart aswell when making passes and moving into space. All good early signs, think he'll chip in with a few goals.

As others have mentioned it is early doors yet for Danny Fox at Celtic. But no question he is off to a great start. Much more composed on the ball and much more consistent quality in his delivery in the final third. He looks like he could develop into a very accomplished attacking full back for us.
