    See...
Think the chances of him starting a CL game was about 1 in a thousand. Watching preseason was clear Brown, Donati, N'Guemo were all ahead of him with McCourt in the mix as well.

Agreed mate, i was a bit harsh there i meant just for the Arsenal game, hes got bags of potential.

He's a good player to bring on when we want to slow the game down if we are a few goals up as well.

    sorry, no.

im not putting words into peoples mouths at all, i dont know where you get that from. ive seen plenty of people in threads all over this website complaining that crosas doesnt get a start and how he is so much better than brown and donati. its the exact same with mccourt.

During pre-season, i agree, donati and nguemo were going to get a start before him, brown will mostly always get a start before crosas. crosas and mccourt are equal in a way, both are young, with lots to prove before they can break into the first team, which is why they will come on late as subs against harder opposition, rather than get a start against falkirk or someone

its not all down to pre-season though, the manager has to take into account any sub appearences he makes, and how he performs, and obviously how he performs in training.

im not saying crosas is a bad player at all, i dont think we have many bad players at celtic, just donati has been more impressive, and he has the drive, and more of a reason to be acknowledged by the fans and support.

crosas will get his time to shine, and im sure he'l break into the team eventually. spanish players are interesting and fun to watch, so heres hoping!

How is this not sticking words in peoples' mouths?

so i think because of that goal, all the crosas brown nosers are screaming at him for a start.

I didn't quote the rest of your post because I agree.
I think Crosas is a better more-rounded player than Donati at the end of the day. However, Donati has earned his place back in the team and he's done his job well so far. If Crosas wants to play he'll have to earn it.
There is no denying Donati definitely deserves to start against Arsenal.

And I'm not the only one saying that in this thread either. So next time please don't just assume what a group of people think. I believe you'd also find that, when it comes to people who rate Crosas, it's not down to just 1 goal.
I honestly think he's got the best talent for passing in our entire squad and his movement after he passes is something others could learn from as well. On the other hand, he would do well to learn from others how to get stuck in a little more.

    Neither!

4-3-3 with McGeady-Brown-Maloney and Fortun'e-McDonald-Samaras- we've got to go for it.

It's going to be Donati. And rightfully. Why would he throw Crosas in out of nowhere?

got to be donati simply because Crosas must be really rusty and there is no way he will suddenly be thrown in.

Crosas should learn from Donati and become a better player.

Donati has an excellent passing range and so too does Crosas at times however Donati is more likely to produce a cutting edge pass or accurate long range one. However Donati seemed to dally on the ball in the past leading to mistakes from him and consequences to the team.

If Crosas improves through emulating Donati's superior skills and eliminating the mistakes which Donati has in the past made thenb Crosas could be a 25-30 million midfielder imo.

I go with Donati myself. He has looked good so far this season and I see no reason to drop him for tomorrow. He also has the bit of skill and extra ability on the ball that we need in the team as much as possible if we are to achieve any kind of result.

    Donati for this bear.

Crosas has not had enough match practice to be considered imo.

Has to be Donati. Without a shadow of a doubt. Has been our best player behing McGeady so far.

Also, if you look at the squad list from the bbc website that was posted above, if it was taken straight from there, I wonder if they know something we dont? 4-3-3???

The both of them. With either Brown sitting behind the striker or coming on if we need him. We really need to keep posesion down there and both are better passers than Brown imo. Brown had a shocker in terms of passing in the 1st leg.

I voted Donati. I'm not his biggest fan but he has played more games than Crosas this season so i wouldn't be happy throwing Crosas in against Arsenal at the Emirates.
