How do we beat Arsneal 2-0?
Seriously? Nguemo is out. Vermealen can put our current strikers into his back pocket. I honestly believe a totall change of tactics is needed.
I reccon avoid the passing game it only enncourages the queen lovers. We need a holding player with a bad rep, who other players are too scared to go near incase they get hurt. We need to waste as much time as possible-cry and yap for ages after every foul like a Mourinio team and try unhinge Arsenal out of their game.
Losing our long record against the English still hurts! hopefully there will be a ying-yang for our pain in London

If you can frustrate Arsenal's passing game for the first 45, it is possible to get our guys nervous. Though Arsene seems to have partially solved our defensive problems, our midfield is not as good in supporting them so there is a way through. Long balls maybe? Perhaps not with Mowbray in charge.

I reckon we will score in the first half though and kill off the tie.

Get * right in and see what happens. Try and play fitba, get the baw up the park and get shots on target. Oh and for 2-0 we'll need to keep a clean sheet, shouldn't be too hard if we get any luck this time :)

Its only a game 11 v 11 and we done it in Moscow when needed, send them on the jammy gits :bbpd:

Score the first goal and take it from there. I find the * in the media and from some fans is miles over the top. They were typical Arsenal, all fancy football and no cutting edge. A deflected own goal and an own goal and suddenly we were out-classed

Bring Skippy back in as history tells you he'll score 1 and get McGeady on the ball as much as we can and we will create chances. If lady luck shines on us this time then we can give them a game.

Kidnap Fabregas/Vermalean/Arshavin/Van Persie/Glichy/Gallas/Denilson/Sagna the night before the match, we can hold them hostage in a disused TFL bus depot near me and release them the following morning when we've won 3-0 :icon_mrgreen:

whenever we get the ball outside the box, shoot at gallas. he will get us a deflected goal. he owes us one. seriously though, i think we broke their passing game quite well on tuesday. we need to do the same with a little bit of quality upfront. as someone said before get some shots on target plus some corners. arsenal are not too good in the air and we could hurt them there.

I actually think if we can get the first goal their cheeks will tighten. Not over by a long shot.

sad thing is we aint ever going to keep a clean sheet. caldwell to get sent off might be a decent bet.

Stick by our formation that we started with, get the ball out wide all the time, use hinkel more as they're weaker down that side imo and hinkel has a better cross than fox from open play.

also bang in a load aginst st johnstone at the weekend get the strikers fired right up and confident.

Our biggest problem is the current form of Arsenal. The way they fought hard to close down every ball is a sign of a new attitude in the team but if they get beat in their own league this wkd hopefully their old form will rise again! or else do as your man says kidnaps r us:icon_mrgreen:. rem to put the event on youtube for the rest of us!

    First thing,

Beat St Johnstone at home, to win our first home game under mowbray, win by 3 goals hopefully get confidence up,

When we go to arsenal be confident on the ball and while passing, get it out wide we will make chances just keep it tight at the back

Beat them by having the same luck they did for the 2 goals they scored! What was the score last year in the semi final against Man U in the first leg? They got beat 2 -0 I think at the Emirates the week later if I remember correctley

We don't. I really don't think the team is capable of doing it. Give the team another year to settle into Mowbray's master plan and we will be able to take these teams away but I dont see us winning on Wednesday.

The most worrying thing for me is Arsenal didnt even hit form in the first leg and did indeed lack a bit of real cutting edge. They usually do hit form and have an abundance of cutting edge, this is the Arsenal we may well be up against next time?

Not impossible but it isnt the nicest of predicaments for us.
