    The champions league is the place to be,but if that Doesn't happen then i would happily settle with a run in the Europa league

    Do we really need the SPL?

    I'd rather be watching us play Villarreal, Valencia, Ajax & Roma than St Mirren and bleedin Motherwell any day of the year.     :50:

    The sooner we can ditch the SPL entirely the better...

    Yes I would, even though it is not the big tournament, it is still a European competition, why you got multiple choice btw it's not like someone is going to choose yes and no :icon_mrgreen:

    It's not consolation, it's reality.

    I would be delighted at the run in Europa League, it means more European football, more glorious nights at Celtic Park, more cash for Lawwell and co and certainly we are keeping our status in Europe by at least competing in this competiton.

    Now, thing that fears me the most is competition. If we draw Eastern European team, it will be a tough battle. And many teams are entering EL this year and they are all hungry for victories and they all want to prove themselves in Europe. While we are regular in Europe, they are not and that may cause us trouble by being favourites for many matches.

    If we drop into the Europa League i will be expecting us to get to the final!! :icon_mrgreen:

    But we're not out of the Champions League yet!

    Yeah deffo,i think we could go pretty far in it,maybe even to the final,.would be good aswell to get fulham,everton or villa aswell.any european competiton is good.

    We said before the start of the season that the champions league was gonna be a big ask...i think majority of us had already accepted the europa league....Plus it will give mowbray some european experiance. As he builds a team that will play over the next 2-3 years.

    So saying That As Long as wel get the SPL title back. I'll be very happy with a run in the europa league. and i know the money isn't as high as the CL It should still get us a nice return to keep the books balanced. As well as playin some stiff competition

    its a matter of pride actually. now that we are out of the champions league, we really should go atleast till the semis. maybe the final and we could do what the scum couldnt.
