Caldwell = European Liability

They held there own last night apart from 2 bullshit goals ,for all Arsenal are cranked up to be this great footballing team that you will find hard to get the ball of them ,,a bit weird that Celtic had 53% to Arsenals 47% possesion ,strange but true ,about time Celtic fans gave there players and team a bit of credit ,no wonder parkhead is dead these days with fans moaning about anything they see wrong ,support the players and they will improve .

 

i have never heard a more true fact i think that n'guemo should be our priority aswell before people start talking about his performances and a big club start putting ideas in his head. also thought loovens was outstanding last nite

I would like to wish Celtic all the best for the rest of the season, but some of these post's make me sick. Why anybody would like to play in front of such a bunch of crier's that comes on here . wise the f--k up and get behind the team .

harsh on caldwell. Donati was poor and bottles every tackle.

 

One bad game and he is classified as a bombscare and all that. True, had a poor game because of that own goal, but he gave his best before that. And if he scored 100 own goals, he is still our best defender. Don't forget he had armband yesterday.

 

id just like to say donati crunched into quite a few tackles last night but kept getting penalised by the ref for it. there was only a couple he didnt crunch into, that i can think of.

Caldwell should just focus on defending instead of thinking he's our answer to Beckenbauer. Defenders are there to defend it's the midfielders and forwards job to create.

 

There are few things scarier than Caldwell dribbling out from defence, trying the odd shimmy or stepover...

Big Loovens is our best centre back by a million miles. If he had been a regular starter last season i think we would have won the treble. So many stupid points lost last year through defensive mistakes, and also mcmanus` schoolboy challenge against st. mirren in scottish cup! And we wouldnt have had to worry about playing in these nightmare qualifiers!!!

 

I felt the player highlighted was pretty * solid last night and never really put a foot wrong, so I dont know how you can say that he is pish, lol thats laughable, he steadied the defence when he stepped in as a regular, as we lacked someone as good as him in the air and physically at the back. I agree about O'dea though he deserves a proper run in the first team.

 

i think he'll get that if caldwell doesnt find form

 

I think Caldwell was coming on fine in defence with Strachan, but maybe Mowbray has asked him to take the ball forward a bit more? Which isn't the best as he needs to purely concentrate and getting his first job right, defending.
