McDonald was the key to victory today.

McDonald was invisible today. The only reason he scored was because Aberdeen handed the chance to him on a platter.

Can't agree, mate. Fortun'e did a lot and I think many people saw what he did today. McDonald scored from 5 yards today. I could've done that with that shuffled defence of Sheepshaggers. Fortun'e maybe didn't score, but he did a lot up front. He created space for Skippy and others by being constant thorn in Aberdeen's defence.

What has Skippy done more than Marc-Antoine? He scored an easy opportunity and had that great chance, but Langfield was class there. He should've scored on couple of more occasions, like opening chance of the match etc. Nevermind, I think they both contributed enough today to be considered as a long term solution for our attack.

I dont think fortune did as well as everyone is saying. I was at the game and for me a lot of his running was wasted by a poor ball or poor shot. He looked unfit and uniterested. Head down the whole game.

But Im sure that he will become a good player for us. I have seen enough so far to see its there and we just need to get the best out of him

    Boruc -
Had * all to do all day, couldn't prevent the goal.
    Hinkel 7
Solid as usual, provided the pass for Aiden's second goal.
    O'Dea 6.5
Surprised he was captain, didn't have a lot to do, but we looked a bit shaky at the back towards the end.
    Loovens 7
Big fella is a rock at the back.
    Fox 7.5
Impressed by Fox, great left foot, strong playing in both directions.
    Donati 7
Kept it simple throughout, nothing too elaborate like he tended to in the past and it worked. Surprise performer so far this season, newfound versatility is a big plus too. Surprisingly sound as a defender.
    N'Guemo 7
    Never stopped working.
    Maloney 6
Great bursts of speed, especially in the first half, but zero end product, either selfishly looking for his or shocking passing, 6 might be a bit harsh, but with the spaces he had, he should've contributed more.
    McGeady 8
Up for it from the start, great finish for the second goal with the turn and the shot, if he keeps it up and if the end production is not just a flash in the pan, then he is in position to build on the the season he had two years ago, while putting all that went wrong last year behind him.
    Fortune 7.5
Not a goalscorer, even if I think his final goal tally will be greater than most expect, but he worked hard all day, opened up spaces and most importantly set up two goals. No complaints.
    McDonald 7
The usual from Skippy, could've opened the scoring early on, but got on the scoresheet nonetheless, he'll be our main goalscoring threat yet again this season.
    Brown 6.5
Perhaps unfair to judge as he got in a position, where the game was won already and we slowed down a bit, but wasn't really able to make any sort of impact.
    Samaras 7
Played well in time he got, made a lot of runs with the ball, had one of those days where his close control was tight and his legs weren't just a pinball machine.
    Killen 6.5
Looked quite lively, Maloney had a chance to put him through on goal, but botched the pass, Killen could be useful as season progresses, certainly a better option than Sheridan in my opinion.

    Mowbray 8
Got the tactics spot on, we ran all over them in the first half, can't wait for our game against St.Johnstone, if we perform like that again.
