I dunno whats peoples thoughts are on this, I bought the original LP, I bought the 10th Anniversary cd so I'll probably buy the Special Edition, just so I can compare the difference that Leckie's re-mastering has made (although I suspect I may be able to clearly hear the sound of a dead horse being flogged).

 

I love the Roses,saw them at Glasgow Green in 1990,bought origional album, got it on cd but i'll not be buying any of these.

 

Not one for buying these things but they are one on the best bands ever

 

Love the the Stone Roses, and the girl is a massive fan so think I'll get her this for her 21st.

I wouldnt mind if the re-mastered vinyl was available seperately, I'd defo be up that.

i bought the original album from asda. great depth in the album. wish i could of seen them in there hayday. great band.

 

Aye I'll get he the £90, I really can't think of anything else to get her so she is getting that, a ticket to go and see Jet and some Quigley Love Tokens.

 

i'v seen the likes of The Jam,U2,Oasis,The Verve,Beck,Eminem but the Roses at Glesga Green 1990 tops the lot AMAZING gig

I was there too, its now universally accepted as there best ever gig. Theres a couple of bootlegs available, but I've never got my hands on a copy yet.

 

the thing that always sticks in ma heid is it was raining inside that marquee, the humidity was unreal i remember having to take my top off and wring it oot when i got outside.i'm no one for bootlegs

 

One of my favourite bands ever might consider purchasing that £90 thing.

 

It is mate, £23.99 at HMV, I got one yesterday. You also get a 7-inch (unmarked) pressing of Fools Gold thrown in. Order it soon, though. It's likely to be discontinued within a few weeks.
