Petrov has done well now but took him a while. fergihun, maloney didnt have to much impact down there.

Look at Hutton, they paid £9mil and he turned out utter crap. £12mil+ definitely. Whats the point there never gonna get him anyway.

Well, there's the problem with your arguement, he's not playing against EPL opposition and so cannot be assessed in that environment. Furthermore, players like Bent, Palacios, Crouch etc transfer for over inflated amounts because they are moving within the same league, with the player being sold not only weakening the selling club, but also able to hurt them in the future.

Personally, I hope we try and squeeze as much out of dodgy harry's kitty as possible, but would happily accept £7M up front with some add-ons.

Im taking this back. I think if its a ridiculous amount of money like 10-15 which could happen cos there so stupid down there i would take it only if i knew it would be reinvested in the team

Unsure where I stand on this, I'd like to see if he can live up to all the hype but personally doubt it. 9 mil could get us a goal scoring striker or someone who can actually score from midfield so I'd be tempted to take it.

Hope I'm wrong though, would love to see Brown starting to put the ball in the net regularly.

I agree. If Pavyluchenko was part of the deal plus maybe 9 or 10 million that would do nicely for him. Other than that no way.
