How much of a difference would Faregas not being involved?

I think that would be amazing. Yes Arsenal have got great players but Fab is probably their best. Here's hoping it's true

    * :(.

Anyway, I think you have a very, very, very good chance of beating us at 'Paradise'. This is the game we all feared. It will be right in our faces.

But you need to keep Arshavin quiet. That bloke is one of the best technically gifted players I've seen. And believe me, we've had some over the years, with Henry, Bergkamp, Pires etc etc. If he started his career with us, I'd say he would of been the best player to ever wear an Arsenal shirt, if not the best, very close!! Whoever marks him has a hard job indeed. As for Fabregas, if you isolate him, he tends to play backwards and the long ball.

But to beat us is easy. Well I say easy. Just get cross after cross in. Our defence can't cope with a crowded area. Gallas can't head a ball. Vermaelen is new, Clichy and Sagna are quality, but prone to mistakes. As for Almunia? He's *. Flaps at high balls, can't save long rangers. So flood our box at every opportunity and it will be very hard for us.

But one thing for sure is - I think we will have 2 amazing games on our hands. You play football the right way like us, you've got passion, soul. Professional club conducted in the right way. Amazing support!! But a * horrible away kit!! (sorry had to put that in)

Anyway, I cannot wait to get to Glasgow. I feel like a kid at Christmas for this game. Alway's wanted to go Parkhead, so in a way, it'll be an honour to experience it.

    Hail Hail :celt_2:

    Oh and RED ARMYYY ;)

Arsenal's problem is that they have beautiful approach play and little end product to show for it. If wee stay strong at the back we have every chance of winning.

Arsenal hit by injury blows :icon_mrgreen:

Theo Walcott will miss Arsenal's first Premier League match of the season against Everton on Saturday, after Arsène Wenger's young squad suffered a triple injury blow.
As well as Walcott, who has a back injury, defender Johan Djourou wasruled out for a month with a knee problem while reserve goalkeeper Lukasz Fabiański will be unavailable for two months after undergoing surgery on a cartilage injury.
It means that Thomas Vermaelen is likely to make his debut alongside William Gallas in defence, with Wenger now expected to prioritise the need for another centre-back before the closure of the transfer window.
Norway's Brede Hangeland has been carefully monitored but Fulham would expect a fee approaching the €17m that Arsenal spent in breaking their transfer record to bring Andrei Arshavin to the Emirates.
Tomas Rosicky and Samir Nasri will also miss the start of the season, while Abou Diaby is doubtful due to a groin injury. With Walcott absent, Jack Wilshere may be given the opportunity to impress from an attacking role to the right of a front three.
Arsenal have a particularly intense start to the season. After the match against Everton, they travel to Glasgow for the first leg of their Champions League qualifier against Celtic. The second leg on Aug 26 is just three days before they face Manchester United in the Premier League.
Wenger acknowledged that the injuries had presented him with "some problems" but has offered a positive assessment of the squad and defended the club's directors against the suggestion that he is not provided with adequate transfer funds.
Asked what the board would say if he requested €28m to spend on two new players, Wenger said: "They would certainly say 'are you sure?' first and if I said 'yes', they would do it. The money is there to buy, you must find better players than the players you have.
"Football is not all about money, it's about quality of work, quality of developing the team. In England if you don't win a game or you don't play as well as people would like, they say 'buy players'.
"The solution is not always to buy players. I believe we have a policy where we have to be very strong. We have managed to stay at the top, build a new stadium, make profit, pay our debt back and I believe that doesn't get the credit it deserves."
Wenger was also bullish about Arsenal's chances of regaining the Premier League title. "I envisage only one order," he said. "That is Arsenal finishing on top and all the rest can do what they want."
Although there is interest from Barcelona in Cesc Fabregas, Arsenal have received no offer and have consistently stressed that they would not sell their captain.

Good news that. Walcott is pretty poor but his pace would leave Naylor/Fox dazelled.
