I say in the away leg get a midfield five of:

    Maloney....Brown...N'Guemo...Robson...McGeady

With that central 3 brawling the * out of those sand-dancing bairns :icon_mrgreen:

Only joking though - Arsenal are an absolute pleasure to watch and perhaps everyone has a soft-spot for them. Hope they do well in the Premiership. Hope they don't get any further in Europe :50:

arsenal can be really good or really bad , but i think with 60'000 fans shouting and singing at the top of there voices will make a bunch of teenagers crumble , if we go 1-0 up at cp i cant see us losing it , i say 2-0 at home and 1-1 away

This is a LONG thread which I haven't read, so apologies if this is a repeat of info:

Fabregas open to negotiations | FC Barcelona News

Basically, Barca have put a deadline on a possible Fabregas transfer as being before the Celtic tie, as he would be cup-tied there after. Fingers crossed Barca get their man!

If that went through it would be sweet, with Fabregas out the door it would make our job much easier.

C'mon Barca do us a turn lol :50:

I think we have every chance of progressing. I have some friends who are arsenal fans and they have said that we are their worst possible draw. They are very worried about travelling to CP. The only thing that stands in their favour is that we are at home first and awy second if it was the other way round atleast we could have come back to Celtic park knowing what was required.

All being im still confident of putting on a show and getting a very good performance and hopefully the result we are all hoping for.

    Will take 2 - 0 Cp
    1 - 1 Emirates

We need to start with two up (killen/skippy) I realize chris comes under alot of scrutiny but the lad can score goals and score them against good teams (city as an example)

Mcdonald can do the running with brown and killen working just behind. Although having said that killen has power and pace aswel so could be useful.

    2-0 home 1-0 away

I know there's a lot of controvery at suggesting a 4-5-1 at home but I'm thinking more the 4-4-1-1 that served so well in the second half against Moscow...

    Something like:

    McGeady........N'Guemo..........Donati.............Maloney
    .........................................................................
    ...............................Brown..................................
    .........................................................................
    ...............................Samaras...............................

But with Samaras on form, McDonalds scoring record, Killen looking decent and Fortune being the new flagship signing, we could well be seeing 2 up front.

:31: how come tickets for the game are only available to season ticket holders only?

"On Friday, from 2:30pm - if any tickets still remain, then these will be made available to non-season book holders in a general sale."

absolute no offence to season ticket holders (yous are the best lol), but ffs Celtic give us all a chance to support our team!

Its my birthday and al cry if I want to!:icon_mrgreen:

i understand a bit what celtic are doing with the tickets but ive got to work every sat. and have done for the last 9.5 years ,ive been offered a book for the last 3 years but i feel it will be a waste of money if i can only make a handful of games a season! ive been to 90 odd percent of champ. league games due to the general sale which is why to say it nice iam at least * off with it!:54:

I'm really looking forward to it myself. Wish I was going down to the Emirates though.
