People Who Were at Game

I'm just back from the game and considering all the obstacles our new players and manager had to contend with today, i think we played great.

I cannot fault anyone tonight, and i think if the Russians now think they have this in the bag we could pull a surprise over there.

 

I thought it was one of the worst perfomances from Heid I have seen passing and positioning was * poor maybe he aint cut out for the captaincy

 

We were the better team by far, just unlucky in front of goal. I can't believe we diddn't get the ball in the net tonight! Hope is not lost for next week! Keep the faith.

 

This was this groups first game at parkhead. (We have not even played a friendly!) I think it is very unfair to pass judgment on anyone tonight considering the circumstances.

 

Good shout mate the players where blowing after 60 mins it was a tall order

 

yeh infact when killen and sammy came on there wasnt much either to tell the truth with all my disappointment he dint score fortune was up there more than anybody and the person who said maloney didnt want to hit byline what game were u watching i thought the guy gave his all the night europa here we go idnt care

 

skippy was unlucky too we were just unlucky in general on another night we would have put those 5 good chances away . and the tie would be over .

i think we might actually play better away this season than at home .

killen is a stupid * he was more intrested in attacking the gk than the ball ,

 

that team was couldnt string a pass. hopefully we can take the chances we created , particular the first half over there..!!

Anyone expecting a great performance and a good win with players all getting pass marks tonight are in dreamland.

 

I was in the LL lower and i don't think their keeper had a real save to make in the first half, as my eyesight is not the best i'm not sure but i don't think he had to make a real top class save all night. He had a couple that came straight at him (Fortune voll3ey and i think it was a Sammy header in the 2nd) but i think Artur made the only real save that i saw, the one on one late in the 2nd.

We seemed to concentrate on getting balls into the box in the first when Fortune was nowhere near the box and Skippy is a midget and then when we bring on Killen and Sammy we start intricate moves infront of the box and then just lump it from back to front. I was confused by this tactical change.

I also shat it when Naylor looked injured with 15 mins to go and we had no subs, i thought using all three so early was rather rash.

 

just shows how the dressing room listens to manager though mowbray stated before game dinamo great counter attacking side . soon as team starts bang goal first ten minutes out of counter attack does that not show that some of the team need a good * kick in the ball * pair of fannys i hope tony batters * out of one of them i feel the team is too pampered

 

the only challenge he made all night was on the * goalie

 

I was at the game, Naylor is the worst left back i've ever seen in a celtic jersey. donati looked not too bad, some good long passes just wanted too much time on the ball. hinkel from the 1st minute looked out of position and you knew we would have to have Heid playing sweeper to him but that wasnt covered up and they dominated that wing. Fortune, plays far too wide, i want a striker whos floats in the box not outside it. mcdonald looked rundown and didnt get involved as much as i would have liked. Mcgeady, Maloney, N'Guemo best players on the park. Overall we were the better team although they did show some glimpses of good pace and great technical ability. the criticism i have to say is still to come. Naylor, everyone knows no need for me to say. We lacked cutting edge in the last quarter, we missed brown and nakamura i thought personally and i think loovens looked slow. views?

 

This is the mans first game of the season as a sub, give the man a break ffs.

i think nguemo and donati were good :S:S mcgeady made some good crosses fortune was * imo sould have killed the game off all all by himself by the second half tbh

 

what we lacked was having a shot at goal he tested there keeper twice with two pish efforts and fortune was utter * missing two sitters

 

I thought they done pretty much * all cutting edge wise last season.
