time to sell

we got biggest squad in spl. do we really need all players. tme cut wage bill plus it provide funds for jan signings. we enough youth players too come in and do job for us. time to sell brown (gk) naylor , donati , samaras , mcmanus , sheridan and more youth that not up too standard.

 

There are various players i would get rid of in an instance,

Flood
Samaras
Killen
Flood
Mizuno

I have slated lee naylor all season but with the arrival of fox we might see him improve especially with abit of competition in that area. If 1 of them gets injured its good to have a natural left back available.

 

i wouldnt get rid of Mizuno out tht list. the rest am ok with

sell sammy, naylor, Mbrown.
but we should not sell Mcmanus or Donati

 

I would sell McManus simply because we have adequate cover and he is the type of player that some jumped up money happy shower of mugs from England like Wolves would pay £3m for!

I wouldnt sell Donati,McManus or mizzuno. There all players who will be valueable as the season grows and regulars get fatigued.

We still need backups. Lee Naylor will stay for the season. Samaras is our fourth striker, and should be used as a Fortuné back-up. Mizuno and McCourt will going to compete for time on the wing.

Hibs didn't want to pay for Mark Brown, so we still need to find a buying club. I can image him, Barry Robson and maybe Ben Hutchinson to go.

The rest is a part of Moggas first team, and should stay. At least until new signings comes.

I like Willo Flood and think he have been playing good everytime he came on the pitch in this pre-season. I hope we keep him for season and see how much playing time he will get.

 

Well,donati is a player for the here and now weras crosas is still maturing as an up and coming talent so personally i say keep both. Flood and robson would be gone in my team tbh then i'd alternate between the new lad and brown and donati and crosas.

 

I agree with Flood, never really rated him tbh. As for Robson, he is one of my favourite players, if everyone else in the squad had the same attitude as him, I believe we wouldn't even be talking about Dinamo, as we would already be in the group stages.

 

Good point craigy, thinking about it for a good few mins there, i'd like to see him stay but on the other hand i'd rather keep crosas because he is one for the future IMO so i guess if left to me it would be a toss up between donati and robson.. Who would contribute more? Personally i think donati becausehe has a younger engine and isnt as prone to lay offs... Tony has a tough job here,i don't envy him at all,but i'm sure he will have his own idealisms so we just have to go on that for now.

 

I think that killen should be kept he may struggle in europe but i think if he gets some starts and last half an hours in spl he ll score goals when fit he is a penalty box poacher and pretty good in the air i think he gives a good option. The squad has a few too many donatti seems to be playing well in pre season though. I think samaras could go if he continues his drose form of the end of last year. Mark brown should go

 

I think Killen offers the strength and fight in the SPL

I dunno whats going on with Sammy, the times he ghosts by people like they aint there, other times the ball bounces 20 yards off him. Sammy is 24 now, maybe Mogga sees his confidence is gone and is holding him back to work on him instead of continually throwing him in at the deep end like WGS did last season.

If we did sell him and with JvH gone who'd have thought a year ago Killen would have survived those guys lol.

punt sammaras,flood,m.brown,and maybe mcgeady (if we got a great offer ?)

 

Even if we received a good offer for Mcgeady I wouldn't be selling him on. I think we will need to rely on him massively this year for the creativity and spark now that we don't have Naka!

In order to trim the squad down and bring in a couple of good signings I would let M Brown, Sammy, Killen and maybe Flood go.
