THE only place to see Celtic’s vital UEFA Champions League qualifying match against Dinamo Moscow on Wednesday, July 29 will be at Celtic Park.

The tie – Tony Mowbray’s first competitive match in charge of the club – is not being shown on television.

And the Celtic manager is hoping that a full house at Celtic Park will give his team the extra boost they need against Dinamo Moscow.

“The support we’ve received so far in pre-season has been fantastic,” the Hoops boss said. “The Celtic supporters have been everything I knew they were. The passion is still very evident.

“We have a hard game on Wednesday and I’m hoping the atmosphere of Celtic Park, and the fact our players have experienced it before, will take us through and allow us to produce a good performance to give us a chance to progress.

“It’s my first match at Celtic Park as manager but I don’t want to build it up as a special moment for just me. It’s another game in the glorious history of Celtic Football Club and it’s a challenge for us.

“I’m the guy who picks the team, but it’s all about the players and supporters. Hopefully, we can go there, get a good result and keep the positivity going in the right direction.”

I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS, THEY WON'T LET THE BBC SHOW THE GAME JUST TO MAKE SURE THEY SELL 60,000 TICKETS AND MAKE MORE MONEY. SO I WILL BE CHECKING TELETEXT EVERY * MINUTE OF THE GAME.

So im being punished for working till 8'oclock that day and having no chance of making the game on time. Shocking! I hope there is a u-turn after we sell cp out.

I don't want to watch it on the internet, the picture quality is *, then if it on justin tv you have to put up with they idiotic rangers fans posting up there sectarian bullshit. IT DOES MY NUT IN.

 

* sake. If I lived in Glasgow, it wouldn't be a problem going to match, but living in Ireland, i just can't go to every match due to cost, time etc. Absolutely no regard has been given to that. Same for all the people living overseas. Total joke.

Celtic wouldn't publish on their website that the game is not televised and then reverse the decision and show it on TV, and I seriously doubt they would be able to amend the schedules even if they did change their minds on Tuesday, 24 hours prior to the match.

If people want to see the match that much - go to the game - simple as. Obviously for the Tims that live far away it's disappointing news for, for the ones that live in the Glasgow area that are moaning about it then they should just go to the game, it isn't a grand a ticket or anything.

 

Not everyone has a spare £30 quid, plus transport cost, food etc plus some people that live in the Glasgow area but by the time they finish work wouldn't make it in time, a lot of fans rely on the game being on TV to see it, with it being Mowbray's first competitive game, coupled with the fact it's the important CL qualifier people are obviously desperate to see it.

 

Russian TV are bound to be showing it, it'll therefore be streamed on www.iraqgoals.net
