Anyone have an idea if this is going to be live online somewhere? I heard a rumor that there wasn't.

He was highly rated in the Championship though and did not look too bad when he played for us so far. The worst he could play would not be worse than Naylor.

    Anybody seen this?

I'm not too worried about an "impenetrable wall" after reading these quotes from the same guy :)

He must have not watched many videos if he thinks Samaras is one of our top threats.

Some interesting selections here, good to see folks not forgetting the impact Killen and O'Dea have made pre season so far.

Here's my alternative XI (food for thought, this one...)

    Revised XI:

    GK: Boruc

    RB: Hinkel
    CD: Loovens
    CD: Caldwell
    LB: Naylor

    RM: Flood
    CM: Donati
    CM: N'Guemo
    LM: McGeady

    ST: Fortune
    ST: Killen

Subs: Zaluska, Fox, O'Dea, Maloney, Crosas, Samaras, McDonald

i wouldnt mind seeing mccourt in the midfield & maloney and fortun'e paired up top and see how that works but maybe dinamo game isnt the right time for that.

Indeed! Wouldn't mind at some stage seeing:

    McGeady....Brown.....N'Guemo.....McCourt
    ........................................................
    ................Fortune..Maloney.................

As I really like Maloneys link up play and his directness and footballing brain is a great combination to have.

    However for the Moscow match:

    McGeady.......Donati.......N'Guemo......Maloney
    ..............................................................
    ..................Fortune.....Skippy.....................

    Bang on.

I wouldn't have Brown in the team for either leg.
He's not a player we can trust to play carrying an injury, cos he's incapable of reining himself in.

Andy Hinkel didnt do much for me pre-season, whereas caddis had a terrific game against a strong spurs side, same with donati he looked good with n'guemo and showed he could go forward with his goal against that egyptian mob and ive also been impressed by killen pre season so heres my team....

    Boruc
    Caddis Caldwell O'Dea Naylor
    McGeady Donati N'Guemo Maloney
    McDonald Killen

Does anyone think we might play 3 up front?

I think with the strength we have in the forward position now(?) that 3 could be an option for the future. I would never risk it against Moscow though as it could leave us suspect possession wise and defensively.

Saying that though, I don't think many teams in this day and age work with 3 out and out strikers. If we were to go for a 4-3-3 / 4-5-1 it would surely involve McGeady and Maloney (or even Samaras) on the wings of the 3 up front.

It would surprise me due to us playing a 4-4-2 in the pre-season games. What makes you think that?
