I like Maloney on the left or just off the front. I prefer McGeady on the right.

Maloney on the right and McGeady on the left! :50:

I think we've got so many options on the wings this year:

    McGeady
    Maloney
    Mizuno
    McCourt
    Flood
Caddis and Robson can also be used on the wings.

I can't wait for the season to start! :icon_mrgreen:

I've always thought McGeady looks more dangerous when he has played on the right, maloney has a better shot on him so stick him on the left so he can cut inside and shoot.

Hopefully Koko and Paddy will make an impact this season, if they aren't being used by Christmas i'd get rid of both.

Would love to see McGeady & Maloney on each wing, something we rarely saw under WGS. Think we would score a load of goals.

They could easily swap wings with each other if its not working game by game, hes our best attacker if he stays fit imo

Hopefully we'll give Maloney and McGeady a run in the team together. They both seem like the kind of player Mowbray would like.

I prefer Maloney on the left, whereas I think McGeady can be equally effective on the right or even central midfield.

you hope they make an impact but if not being used get rid of both....why? They came for buttons and will no doubt be on buttons at the moment. I would keep them longer to see how they develop.

Robson is not a winger. he is lacks pace to be a winger.

I agree I think it would go well. I think he will be trying alot of different players on the wings because he has alot to choose from.

Like to see McGeady on the right and Maloney on the left, with both of them interchanging when necessary.

Ive never been a big fan of Maloney ,i really dont know what he is ,a winger in my books takes players on down a wing and will cross a ball in for the strikers etc ,very rarely have i seen Maloney running with a ball at his feet 10-20 yards and skinning a defender .

Centre forward ,he isnt an out and out centre forward either ,someone tell me what he is ?.

Maloney for me is an attacking midfielder who likes to cut in from wide positions. I've enjoyed watching him in the past, and I think he's a quick player - quick head, quick feet. He's someone who can get on the wavelength of creative players around him.

Having said that, he hasn't exactly set the proverbial on fire since he came back from Villa. But I would like to see how he fares in Tony's new setup. I think it could bring out the best in him.

player since returning from A Villa?
it must been have been a eye opener down there with the likes of Agbonlahor and co

He has got talent theres no denying that ,but it is finding where to play him ,maybe in behind the front 2 but i wouldnt play him as a winger ,as i said before i like a winger to run a defender ragged and Maloney doesnt fit that bill ,McGeady is a winger who will take players on .

We have guys like Mizuno and McCourt who are out and out wingers who i would like to see in the team ,we know McCourt has a dodgy back but if he is fit i would play the guy out there before Maloney ,its finding a place for Maloney but thats my opinion anyway .:50:

    Maloney to be favourite

Ye I think Maloney will be a favourite of Mowbray's aswel, Strachan prefered Maloney to McGeady I think, but just have to wait & see how it works this time round, maybe get both them in the side, 1 on each flank..
