    I think he struggled for a time, but remember most of those bad performances where while he was at right back, so out of position. While he has been at the centre back he has been great, I would give him the cash, probably with some sort of pay as he plays or performance based contract, and I would also give him the captains armband.

    Hes been better this season, but he has to remember Celtic made him this way. Look at him the season before last if he played like that again he'd be back at Hibs playing for his lunch and a mars bar every week

    Celtic should give him that contract that he wants. I'm not Caldwell's biggest fan but he does deserve it after the season he had last year. Again I think Celtic are wasting their own time testing the player's loyalty, the McNamara saga springs to mind.
