It would also gives me confidence that not all players are out of our reach with regards to the EPL.

    Its hardly the daily hun.

The huns hate it as much as we do, so it's hardly biased towards them.

More good news from the Daily Record:

Marc-Antoine Fortune set to join Celtic - and turn down £1m from Premiership rivals
    Jul 7 2009 Keith Jackson
CELTIC were last night on the brink of persuading Marc-Antoine Fortune to turn down £1million of Premiership gold to team up again with Tony Mowbray.
The Celtic boss had expected to find out at the end of last week if the striker he took on loan to West Brom last season will spearhead his assault on the SPL title - and walk away from massive pay packets at Portsmouth and Hull.
But although Fortune has taken longer than Mowbray anticipated to make a final decision, Celtic are now hopeful of completing the player's £ 3.8m capture from Nancy - possibly within the next 24 hours.
It is understood Fortune has expressed his willingness to turn down both English clubs, even though he could have pocketed £ 250,000 a year more than Celtic are offering over the course of a four-year deal.
Pompey even jetted out a negotiation team and medical staff to France on Friday in the hope of concluding a deal.
A source close to the deal told Record Sport: "If the player was making his decision based purely on financial terms then he would have been in England long before now.
"The fact he has been agonising over this for so long tells you how much he thinks of Tony as a manager and of Celtic as a club.
"It is fair to say that, little by little, a deal is edging closer all the while. You can never be over confident in a situation such as this one but everything could be a lot clearer in the next 24 hours."
Fortune could be joined at Parkhead by Nancy team-mate Landry N'Guemo with Celtic formally opening talks on a loan deal with the French side.
N'Guemo, 23, has been capped three times by Cameroon and is a defensive midfielder who will prove an able replacement for Paul Hartley, who yesterday completed his move to Bristol City.
The 32-year-old Scotland international has signed a two-yea deal with Gary Johnson's Championship club. Hartley said: "I'm looking forward to the challenge. The manager is ambitious and wants to see the team progress and get into the top flight.
"I hope the experience I bring to the squad will benefit us."

    Good on ye big man.

You may turn out to be *, but at least you've shown you really want to be here.

If this man bangs in the goals, i can see him being seriously popular as he's already got off on the right foot.

Lucky Marc-Antoine has found his new team. The attacker of Nancy is going to get signed on Wednesday for three seasons with Celtic, in spite of a last minute interest of Portsmouth, according to the information ofL’Equipe. The sum of the transfer would be near the 4 million euro.

    ---

    4 million euro = £3,5m.
Maybe we got him even cheaper that we thought.
