But believe me, a lot of germans don`t like our leadership and our history.
I was born 1973. Our pride was destroyed by the * scum. Now we have many players from different cultures and nations in or squad.
I`m sorry for the crimes against your country 68 years ago.

I liked to watch Crvena Zvezda-Bayern Munich a few years ago.
Bayern is the upper class team in germany. I really enjoyed their loss in Beograd:icon_mrgreen:

I don't think it's just me with the same problem, there are many people who hated or still hate * scumbags and their acts.

The crimes against my country are still ongoing, it never even ended from the 90s. Kosovo is another subject which I don't want to discuss in this thread.

My team in Serbia? Well, there are two great teams, Partizan and Red Star, both from Belgrade. Honestly, I like Partizan more than Red Star, but I just like them, I don't support them. I wouldn't be here if I was a fan of these two.

Bayern didn't lose to Red Star. They won after they were 2:1 behind and somehow they managed to pull out 3:2 away win.

So, how come your a Celtic fan? And who do you support in Germany?

My favorite team in germany is Eintracht Frankfurt.
Had sympathies for Werder, but that`s history.
I`m Celtic supporter since 2003.
I watched Old Firm on TV and decided for Celtic.
But it`s not only football. The history of the club is phenomenal, absolutely great. And I really hate the Gers
Their right wing support, bigotry and arrogance.
I`m protestant, my wife and my two kids catholic.
Realize their reactions against me. They always talk about anti-discrimination and sing sectarian chants, show their Red hand flags and so on.
My other sympathies are Karlsruher SC(Hometown of my wife),Eintracht Braunschweig(Team of my father),West Ham United and FC Basel.

I think that Germany is a forward thinking country with millions of good people. When I visited there, I felt very welcome. Even though meine Deutsch ist nicht so gut, they were very accommodating when I was trying to communicate with them. It's understandable that a lot of Germans aren't proud of the country's recent history. But surely Germany has history that it can be proud of? For example, in sporting terms, they've been very successful with football.

Yes, we have a history beyond 33-45.
And we`re lookin`forward. Financial crisis is one of the main problems today.
We`re successful in sport, especially football. But there are so many things you can be proud of.

Oh, you meant that one. I thought you were aiming at that meatch from last year at Marakana. Well, I don't know much about those two matches, I was born that year, but I've seen goals from those matches. Mihajlovic's free-kick for example.

My reasons why I'm Celtic fan are about tradition, history and the fact that Celtic isn't such a big club (comparing to Man. United, Barca, Real, Italian scum).

 

And, may I add to Minty's post, most famous people like scientists etc. were from Germany.

 

voted england though its a bit of a no contest. i have a weird love of all things german dating back to the italia 90 team. been there on holiday a few times and loved the place and the people, always support the team against anyone bar scotland, go germany when playing pro or fifa and will be wearing my germany top tonight playing 7 a sides.

Good reasons to choose Celtic as favorite team.
I can`t stand the big european teams, because of their arrogance and financial dominance.
They really suck. They sell their souls AND tradition for commercial things.
Celtic is one of the clubs with pride of their roots,history and supporters.
That`s a reason why so many football fans love the club in europe.
Including me

 

I'm also glad to see that Celtic has fantastic fan base all around the world.

And I quite like watching Bundesliga, some great football this season.

 

Yes, VfL Wolfsburg, the german "Wolves" won their first championshp.
Schalke vs Dortmund is very interesting. The little german Old Firm
Dortmund are with Celtic, Schalke more with the Huns.
But a real connection is between Hamburg and Rangers.

No question it is easily England for me. Delighted to see the Germans smack them 4-0 in the U21 European Final.

 

how any one can hate either team is beyond me,these are the players we watch every week on sky or match of the day and enjoy there football
but when they put on the national jersey we see a poll on who do we hate more

me personally ,i dont hate anything or anybody,i envy them because i wish it was us"scotland" or even celtic who were in finals or had the players that were on show

I was in the stadium when Frankfurt played the Magpies from Newcastle.
The so called "best" supporters in Premier League(they`re relegated..oops:icon_mrgreen.
No one could hear anything from them. They were deeply impressed and began a battle on the terraces.
