I absolutely adore Kuba but no chance he'll come here. He'll stay in Germany.

Could we make a run at Grosskreutz? Perfect time to go for him at 27.

His botched move to Galatasaray has him at Stuttgart in a move that was out of desperation really.

He's a bit of a Celtic fan so don't think we would have a problem tempting him here.

I would assume Efe's away. If so, Greer only has to be better than him, and he is.

Erik, Jozo, Boyata, Efe/Greer, Mulgrew. Hardly a 'stockpile', especially considering: that our manager has a track record of occasionally using 3 CBs; that a few of those guys have not inconsiderable injury history; that we'll (hopefully) be playing upwards of 45 games a season; and that Mulgrew can and does play elsewhere on the pitch.

I've seen burnt toast less done than Kranjcar. Another empty shirt in an empty midfield if he signs for them.

Glaciers move quicker than Clark. No thanks.

All I know about Heurtaux - and this is entirely from FIFA, so likely rubbish - is that he apparently isn't the world's tallest CB (6ft bang on, iirc), and he gets used on the right of a back 3.

He also scored a hat-trick for me vs Barca: two headers and a worldly from 30 yards. Next Beckenbauer. Get him signed.

An assumption most are making with no information confirming that from the club.

Erik, Jozo, Efe, Mulgrew, Boyata, O'Connell, Findlay and adding Greer is a stockpile. That would be 8 players for 2 positions.

If we're signing a centre half he needs to be quality not a sidewards step.

Also, this is not the Kuba from a few seasons ago. Didn't enjoy a good season on loan at Fiorentina, was more or less a fringe player.

Pione Sisto - potential to be a star and could probably sell on for more than we'd sign him for in 2-3 years.

Vegard Forren - would improve the squad and is a good CB.

Grant Hanley - Scottish and would also improve the squad at CB

Callum Paterson - liked this young Scot for a while and could be a really good RB.

Tomas Necid - Big target man who could do a job.

Enes Unal - great young forward who we could possibly get on loan giving the unofficial link we seem to have.

Mohamed Elyounoussi - another very good wide man who would give us that lack of flair at times.

Rob Holding - great young prospect again who Rodgers could improve and sell for more than we pay.

Steven Fletcher - assuming his wages aren't ridiculous I think as a free agent it would be a very good option!

Rico Henry - very talented young LB at Walsall, maybe too much though. Linked with top English clubs.

Tom Bradshaw - another really talented forward at Walsall who whenevejr I've saw him looks technically excellent.

He might want the chance of playing CL football instead of playing lower league football even though it's in Germany.
Vfb Stuttgart got relegated didn't they.

Aye, I'm sure they did. Never even realised that.

I also think I want Kolo Toure. Don't judge me.

He is one I'd be inclined to trust.

He is still a class above anything we could get and is vastly experienced.

Would be a marquee signing for us.

Would happily take Kolo on a freebie, Forren would be a great signing as well

    Falcao on loan :icon_mrgreen:

Boro have offered Radamel Falcao a 12-month loan deal

    * Middlesboro... No doubt they can offer treble the wages we can.

If its a loan they'd probably doing 50% of his wage or something.

Can we sign him and Ibra and then play a three pronged attack of thumb, zlatan and falcao haha.
