    aye, so?

That's where he's been most productive

He hasn't done it for England on the biggest stage, like many of the current bunch.

Agree with this, a good free transfer. CB and goal keeper needed first.

    Apparently he's on 90k a week.

There is no chance of him coming up here.

I dont particularly care for him to either - we can get better value elsewhere.

    Uruguay
    Hungary
    Greece
    Croatia
    Egypt
    Mexico
    France

who imo.....are all good international teams so it isn't just small sides he's scored against:50:

and he's scored in 2006 world cup, the 2008 euro qualifying and the 2010 world cup qualifying. if thats not the 'big stage' for you then what is?? and considering he's scored alot when he';s came off the bench too...

No offence but that's just ridiculous.

John Sutton isn't, and never will be, even half the player his brother was.

Fast striker who can dribble, and a target man who can score, although i'd rather a quick creative striker who can create something out of nothing and you can bring on to change games, who could also play just behind an St.
Punt Murphy, maybe have a look at Max Gradel from Leeds?.

We should've went for Sutton instead of Murphy.

I mentioned Nicky Maynard in player suggestions, I wouldn't mind Goodwillie.

I'm very confused about people saying John Sutton, in the last few seasons he's hardly started. Plus he is no way as good as Chris Sutton.

As much as I dislike him David Goodwillie would be a cracking signing. He can play up on his own and with a partner he's a realistic signing.

I reckon he will have a good run at it in pre-season (bit like Forrest this pre-season)

With Hooper, Sammy and Stokes here I would only bring in 1 more striker, any more and you risk stalling the careers of the likes of Keatings (who scored another 2 for the youths today). 5 strikers in the first team and you are basically telling youngsters they are never going to get a chance.

I am all 4 bringing on the youth and from what I hear your man Keatings is a hot prospect the last thing we want is to make it too hard to get into the first team then have him * off to Aberdeen or something then re-sign him for 2 mil !!
Murphy and Sammy should be sold - I think we were protecting an interest in money giving sammy a new deal - I reckon there were a few teams in for him (championship) and we signed him thinking we could get a 1-3 mil in the summer I wouldnt bet on Sammy being here this time next season - thoughts?
