How much should our BEST player be offered in wages Perweek

Should be paid as much as the other high earners at the club and given club captaincy in the Summer.

 

45 per/week is a bit steep. He should be getting top wage and be the top earner at the club, and like Murphy said, captaincy for the start of next season. Can't offer him much more than that.

 

is 40k not the stopping block ??

if it is give him the 40k, with sutton gone and hopefully thompson to follow we should well be able to afford it.

 

He's worth the 40k easy, deserves 40+ grand a week imo.

I think Lenny 1 has a point, perhaps Stan wants to move, he's been at the club for 6-7 years, and has given his all, as much as I would hate to see him leave, every player has their price or their time at a club.

 

That's not what his agent says.

His agent is creating a smokescreen to deflect the blame onto the board. Before the summer he said he wanted to go on to play in a bigger league and thats we he will do. Don't swallow all this spin, its bullshit.
Offer him £25,000, thats what he worth, take it or go. doesn't matter what others get, they are overpaid and will be gone shortly like sutton if they don't accept a more realistic wage.
