Ok being new here I dont know if this has been done recently, but nevertheless I feel a thread coming on! This place needs bcheering up basically

Post your best Celtic 11 like I have done below. Now remember I love all Celtic players equally (ok some more than others LARSSON is * etc) and remember this isnt necessarily the BEST team but more your favourite players of old but please dont take this too seriously

I dunno how Boruc is a Celtic Legend after half a season. Its an insult to truely great Celtic players

Not sayin he's a legend mate, from what i've seen he's streets ahead of any Celtic goalkeeper, apart from Ronnie Simpson, who i've only seen in videos.

 

Pat Bonner played over 600 times for Celtic for reason.....

 

ive seen enough of boruc to suggest he is the real deal

 

I've been watching Celtic for over 40 years and Boruc is the best keeper we've had by a mile.

 

I saw him flapping at a easy cross on sunday, cost us a goal. You say he's the best keeper in 40 years after half a season of football, i think your off your head.

In that 40 year Ronnie Simpson & Pat Bonner were better and achieved more and they were integral to their teams success. Im not saying Boruc isn't a good keeper, he is, but no player is a legend after only half a season, he hasn't won anything with the club.

 

It's true Bonner and Simpson won more but they had much better players in front of them. Bonner was extremely dodgy with cross balls and Simpson was too small to be a an outstanding keeper. Both were excellent and I'm not decrying them, I just think Boruc looks the real deal although he has lost one or two dodgy ones this season. I never called him a legend. You yourself can only mention two keepers in the last forty years. Boruc doesn't have an awful lot to beat. Its a Celtic thing, great forwards, * goalkeepers.
