    Welcome,
I for one like Paul Hartley, over the past couple of seasons his role has changed. He used to be the playmaker type during his time at Hearts but when we bought him he became more of a defensive midfielder and was solid at that role but over the past year or so his mobility has dropped quite a lot. So depending on how high a tempo your league games are played at will determine how good a player he would be for you if the tempo is slow then i think he could do a job fo you as a sitting midfielder.
And as far as im aware he has no personal problems and has had no major injuries.
    Hope this helps:50:

he is solid enough . alough he is getting older and coming to the end of his career . paul has been very passionate at everyclub he has played with .

he is no longer an attacking midfielder . due to his age . but has a football brain :50:

i wish him all the best if he joins your club .

sammy (samaras) has been a bit of an inigma in scotland he scored some goals here but sometimes can be view'd as lazy by some fans

samaras has all the individual components to be a fantastic player but for some reason it doesnt all come together. I still think if he was very cleverly coached for another year or so he might be a very useful player but he needs to do a lot of work. His confidence is far too easily destroyed. I would keep him but I wouldnt rely on him as a first choice. As for Hartley - if your away to Greece - you lucky *!!! Nah, you have earned it. Lovely place and very nice people. However, dont be a stranger and come back if they make a Braveheart II film about Robert the Bruce and Bannockburn. They will need extras who look like you. Best beard in Scottish football!

If you enjoy slow, overweight players with no skill, pace or awareness that stand in a 20 yard radius of the centre circle passing to the nearest defender, you'll love Paul Hartley. :50:

Exactly. He might not be *'s gift to football, but Paul Hartley will play anywhere you want him to (didn't we have him playing at left back at some point last season?) and run himself into the ground so long as you give him a Celtic jersey to do it in.

So if thats the requirement to be a Celtic player, can I get a contract and pick up fans money for wages?

Coz I would do all of the above as well.
