Suggest a striker

It is said Pavlychencko and his family detest life in London with Spurs, love to see him at CP but far too costly for us i would think. I think we should be scouting East European countries where players cost a lot less and would jump at the chance to come to a massive club like Celtic. There is 1 player i would buy for back up to our main strikeforce, particually in the spl, - don't laugh now - Kevin Kyle at Kilmarnock, a battering ram who single handedly kept Killie in the spl, without him they were doomed, a one man team they were last season.

Maybe if Michael Owen's agents are sending out glossy brochures of the striker. We should send him a glossy brochures about European nights and Old Firms at paradise, and the clubs history and heritage. Would take him any day, as long as he is willing to take a big wage cut, he's not in his form of his Liverpool days so give him 20k a week and let him prove himself again, who knows we might end up cashing in on him a few years later!

If we had 10 Mil i believe we could get all 3 (that would be some attacking force) maybe even one of them with McCarthy would be lethal

 

Janko will be about 7million, Pavyluchenko cost spurs 14million last summer so he will be alot of money but mccarthy would be a good shout, I just want a striker with a bit of power and pace. good in the air and can play football along the ground.

 

Djibril Cisse, if he would come on loan. Javier Saviola. Failing that Leroy Lita is on a free. Could do a lot worse......Ostenstad, Maniero, Jeffers, Seeeeeeeeeeebo

 

Franco di Santo on loan from Chelsea for a season. He's 6'4 and mobile. Would tear it up. Leroy Lita is free? He would score 20+ for us in the SPL

 

Bring back Paul 'The General' Telfer. He'll do a job up front.

Good shout on Zidan. He's a cracking player and would be in our price range. I can't believe he doesn't get more games for Dortmund than he does and i bet he'd jump at the chance to come here. Nuno Gomes from Benfica might be worth a shout too, he's no longer a regular starter for them and is a natural goalscorer. There is a Chilean guy called Suazo who looks good too, he plays in Mexico at the moment and we shouldn't have a problem with a permit because he's a regular for Chile.

 

Donovan we've been linked with back in the Mon days, would love to see him in the hoops. Would take zidan, gomes, frei and a couple others mentioned.
All players that would cost a couple million(or free) and could do a ten up here. Mr lawell have a loony here and get one of these guys in!!
