When so many people are losing their jobs, its understandable that alot of people would rather not commit to spending that sort of money.

Come on now mate, this 'credit crunch *' is placing allsorts of pressures on parents to feed their kids and keep a roof over their families heads. That's not being melodramatic that really is the case.

A season ticket to watch football is miles down the list of priorities whenever family wellbeing is involved.

I was offered a season ticket and can't afford it due to being a student. The prices aren't THAT fantastic.

Fully accept all the points made its a terrible time for many people, but i still believe if you have the cash available pound for pound a visit to celtic park is excellent value.

My season ticket is top priority, after paying the mortgage, bills, feeding the family etc, but i do agree "Once A Tim Always A Tim".

Nice of you to sign up Mr.Lawwell :86:

If people can't afford it, there's nothing they can do about it I guess. It's the ones who already have paid for their season ticket and still don't go to the games, yet when it's Rangers or a CL game they are out in their droves that annoy me.

I'v got a season ticket but away games are far more enjoyable ( go to the vast majority of them), too many fairweather fans at CP these days.

What absolute twaddle. Are you aware of the number of people currently out of work? What about what you get per week in 'job seekers allowance'?

Add a mortgage to that, utility bills, food, and * forbid you have kids...

Can't see where the money to go to any games comes from that, never mind a season ticket.

What never seems to amaze me is the wholly judgemental attitude of some of the best support in the word.

Try working for a living and having no money to spare for nice things like new car or season tickets and maybe not even having the spare cash to give your kids a nice birthday or xmas......and then come on here and have a go at people that aint buying season tickets becuase of the credit crunch.
But untill then shut to * up you fool.

I'm lucky enough to have a season ticket but can't afford to go to all the games so i have to pick and chose which games I'll be going to throughout the season.

As everyone else has stated the credit crunch is having a major impact on peoples lives and football is a fair bit down the list of priorities.

So this credit crunch * as you so eloquently put it means:
    - some people can't afford a season ticket
    - some people can't afford to go to every game despite being lucky enough to be able to afford the season ticket.

Not attending games does not make you any less of a supporter and certainly does not mean you are no longer a Tim just because you can't go to the games. In fact I would go as far to say that those that only get to go to one or two games a season probably appreciate it more than many of those who go to every home game as for some people who have a season ticket it is merely a status symbol or fashion accessory.

It really * me off when fans on here judge others because they dont go to the games.
So if i want to be the best kind of fan i need to quit my job in england and move back to glasgow and then find a new job and go to every game there is...????.

Always look on the brightside of life

I accept i will take pelters for this
    - So why post this pish then? You like taking pelters on a message board?

once a tim always a tim - Exactly what the board want, same as faithful through and through. Keeps you onside even when they are at the * rob!

Please dont give me the credit crunch * or the crap that the fitbas is * for not following the team - Stupid * sentence! The credit crunch has * nearly everyone I know and the football has been rotten.

Prices are first class at cp these days, with family, kids reduductions its the perfect day/evening out with the kids - Aye right another * whopper! Prices are way too expensive for the average family to commit to these days and thats a fact. And it's not really the perfect day out either. My boys got half season books at Christmas and were treated to some of the worst afternoons out due to the * performances and the pathetic surrender of the league title.

The only reason you dont want go is because you can watch it in the boozer and still have an opinion - No it's * no! I'm not buying into it all again this season due to many reasons. Pish teams full of average joes making millions off us. Getting threatened by the club that I'll lose my Villareal CL ticket last year because I was late with a season book installment, even though I bought the 3 match package cash, upfront. The attitude of the police and stewards toward us real fans. The fact the club refused to put my boys picture on the big screen for his birthday saying it takes 5 days notice. Thers plenty more things that prove to me that Celtic use this once a tim always a tim thing to their financial gain, yet fail to respect the fans who pay. * them!

Its our team support it.Hail hail - We pay but have no say.

So before you spout pish again have a read at what you typed before posting it.

I'll always be a tim its the clubs values are changing, not mine!
