Nick Griffin forced to abandon BNP press conference under hail of eggs

The BNP are nothing more than a bunch of bigots.

BUT

To chase them round, throw eggs etc is only making yourselves look stupid, It is also playing straight into the hands of parties such as the BNP.

For me, the far-left groups are no better than the far-right groups, on one hand the BNP discriminate against anyone non-British and non-white, whilst on the other far-left groups insist that a democratically elected party are not allowed their say.

* help us all if any of these types get their hands anywhere near the levers of power.

 

The BNP have normalized their manifesto to look socially acceptable and to play on common fears such as immigration and the economy. Behind closed doors, I'm sure their views are extreme right-wing and racist.

Andrew Broms, the new MEP in Yorkshire, is a former leader of the National Front who has expressed white supremacist views.

Their leader Nick Griffin was also key member of the NF in the 80s, and has been quoted saying such things as this:


"There is no doubt that hundreds, probably thousands of Jews were shot to death in Eastern Europe, because they were rightly or wrongly seen as communists or potential partisan supporters. That was awful. But THIS NONSENSE ABOUT GAS CHAMBERS is exposed as a total lie." - Nick Griffin


The man is a Holocaust denier, which having visited a concentration camp near Berlin, and seen what the Nazis did, disgusts me. He is a filthy racist scumbag.


I'd urge anyone who believes the BNP hold moderate views and are not a racist party to watch this documentary on one of their party directors, Mark Collett.

I don't think you're that funny and unfortunately I do think you do believe what you're saying. Like loads of forum posters you backtrack on previous expositions, the assertion that Muslim families are bigger etc is nonsense and is, unsurprisingly, the exact same rubbish spouted about Irish Catholics when they first emigrated, their animalistic breeding would soon swamp Britain with a foreign religion/way of life. You have to learn from history and you have to learn from your own culture.

The link between the BNP, the National Front and the Nazis is clear and unambiguous. The previous poster pointed out that Griffin was a leading NF figure, I think you have willingly been fooled by a transparent PR job by these neo-Nazis but you're not the first to be seduced by their lies and corrupt sense of camaraderie and community. Again I have to draw your attention to history, the Nazis were similarly concerned with immigration and cultural dissolution, their '33 manifesto did not proclaim 'Total War' and genocidal slaughter but their hate-filled, inadequate racism inevitably led to Europe's worst war and the murder of 12m people in concentration camps. To not see the comparisons here is so naive I can't even begin to understand, if you actually believe that the former NF member (Griffin) who said "white nationalists everywhere wish Farrakhan well, for we share a common struggle for the same ends: racial separation and racial freedom" has now 'watered down' his views is actually funny.

I'll quote your last post 'I have no 'discomfort' with non white brits.' I'm sure I don't need to point out the irony in that statement from the quote I've just used about Griffin.

Once more and just like to go back to your point about the average asian family against the average white family, I'm pretty sure i don't have to expand on my point on how unbelievably stupid and ill informed that comment is, genuinely astonished that someone who supports a club with Celtic's history of supporting Irish immigrants (who as said before had the exact thing said about them) can come up with a comment like that, quite franky astounded at that!
