why have we taken so long to appoint a new manager if it is one of the front runners in the betting. If it is to be mcgee or mowbray we should of named them by now if its coyle are we waiting for him to make his mind up while he is on holiday?Lawell must of had an idea a while ago wgs was leaving so we should of had a short list of candidates ready to approach the man that the board decide should be our next manager.
We should have had the new boss in asap to assess the squad and get players in and out the club ready for cl qualifiers. The longer it drags on the less chance new manager has to pick up some good quality players to bring in on the budget he will have so get your finger out lawell and get the ball rolling on a new era in our history.

So that a few more buy a season book perhaps, better this way before they unveil Mcghee as manager

Its not even been 2 weeks :31:

Surely the right appointment is more important than the quickest appointment?

If they appointed someone within 2 days it would have been 'why did the board not wait and take their time over such a huge appointment'.

I just read a good interview with the guy from Simple Minds there, he was quite right when he said Celtic will never please everyone with anything they do.

Getting the right man in is top of the list your correct but also give him a chance to assess squad and give him time to get his team on the park for cl qualifiers. The longer they wait the harder it will be for the new manager to get his squad together for these massive games.Surely the board knew in advance of wgs departure and if so they have had plenty time to appoint the new manager.

If a manager is in a job he more than likely wont be up for talking about a move until the season is over. If the new man is appointed next week then thats time enough imo

The Swansea guy will go to Wigan, there is no plan in my view, the Club are struggling to find someone they can afford within their budget, the longer this goes on the more likely it will be someone without the required stature and experience from another SPL club

They are taking so long as every manager on the top of the list is saying thanks but no thanks due to the fact they are being told there is nothing in the transfare kitty,
Owen Coyle was ready to shake hands on a deal and when he asked what he had to spend they said nil / nothoing / nada and he said no thanks. this id from a reliable source i just thought you should know

Hoopybhoy to put his name up on this web site would soon end my friendship, but he is as close to Owen Coyle as you can get. without being in his pockets.

    Hail, Hail,
