I would never reveal my sources as it would be a breach of confidentiality on my part.

Suffice to say my source is pristine.

Here is an acid test. How does the new managers CV compare to Watties because that is what he will be up against. Wattie must have the most SPL titles of any living manager as well as a fair bit of EPL experience with Everton, a stint as the national team manager and a lot of European experience. Compare that to Coyle and I think picking him could send us into several years wilderness. Seriously do not underestimate Wattie. He is probably the most successful living Scottish manager other than Fergie and we need a big name to counteract that huge advantage they will now have in management terms.

I think you could be right. But i still believe we have the better squad and a younger more enthusiastic manager just might be the kick up the * we need. A 67 year old romanian etc would play more into their hands.

I dont think youth is an advantage in a manager, probably a big disadvantage usually. I am pretty sure most managers look back at age 55 and think 'I knew sweet FA when I was 40'. It generally thought Tommy Burns was too young for example when at Celtic. A good football man but a few gigs away from having the hard head needed. Probably would have been a lot better if he had had a 2nd chance.

BTW I agree our squad is better and younger so the next manager has a really good base IMO and only needs 4 good new players to make us a great side.

Again i think you have made some great points, but football is changing so much now that i think we should be seriously looking at fresh approaches to things. In my opinion a younger man could be just the thing for us.

Well the we man was talking rubbish because he spent plenty of money during his time mostly on * . Also in January its common knowledge that we failed in bids for Fletcher and Kovac .

yeah but it was drip-fed. He never was rarely given the green light to spend over say 2.5 million and that just is not enough to but quality. I am sure he didnt chose for his average signings to be guys around the 1-2 million mark - sweetie money today.
