Aye..I am sure Barca fans are still thinking that about Guardiola!

If you have the stuff, then you have it. No matter of experience or CV. Look at PLG at the huns...top notch CV. * manager with them.

You dont have to be a * hot manager to manage barcelona. The talent in that team they probably dont need a manager for 75% of the games.

Managing Celtic is 100 times more difficult. You are expected to work wonders with minimum resources. PLG is a * hot manager, he was just clueless about the style of the SPL and immediately lost the dressing room thanks to Ferguson, Boyd etc.

Yes Homerbhoy I think it will be Coyle. That is what I am hearing, that he is still our No1 Target and we were waiting on OC returning from his holidays.

Mowbray was just our fall back if Owen decided to stay at Burnley. From what I know of Owen he would crawl over broken glass to Paradise to take the job. :40: I think it is a Done Deal ! :50:

I agree. Someone mentioned McClaren coming 2nd in Holland this year, another country with just a few big teams, limited money and a big emphasis on youth. Why are we looking at these rookies? Mogga ticks a good few boxes but is not the best. Even considering Coyle is a total joke - one full season away from the Scottish first division, career best 5th in the championship, never managed in any countrys top league, not aquanted with a high level of football even as a player. You wouldnt think of him for a second if it wasnt for the 'hes a big Celtic fan' * in the press. He is a nothing in managerial terms with one good season at a so-so level under his belt. Take away that season and he is about Ian McCall level. I would be absolutely disgusted if we went for him. At least WGS and MON had a good many seasons in the EPL and has reached mid table and cup finals there. They were relatively seasoned low-mid EPL managers steeped in knowledge as players of the very top end of football.
