    I can't stand commercial chart crap and most generic indie. Mindless dance music does my nut in too. I do like dance music, but I'm quite fussy about it.

    Heavy metal frys my brain :50: Most of them are suicidial * that have to pretend there someone else to make them happy. Plus they all act as if there something from your horror film when there just emotional scard people . Just sterotyping here

    Glad you said you were stereotyping. I know a lot of people who like heavy music that don't fit the description there. I like it and I'm not an emotional scared person. lol

    Hip-Hop is more beat orientated, rap is more lyrical (best I can do really)

    As for me it has to be 'pop'. Years back 'Pop' was The Beatles, Stones, The Police, Queen, Lennon, Michael Jackson.

    Now 'pop' is anything churned out by Simon Cowell Inc. so it can go * itself, him too.

    I can't say I hate any kind of music. It's stupid to say some music genre is bad just by listening few songs. I only listen few of these genres adduced, but I can freely say that the others mentioned are also quality. Just because you don't listen to something, it's not a reason to dislike it.

    Classical is just well too boring, maybe when I get a bit richer Ill like it. Never been too mad for heavy metal but If I was locked out of it, at least I could half listen to it.
