are you willing to take a chance?

right folks, lets get to the point. are you willing to take a chance on someone like Martinez or Mowbray? personally i would love a manager who will play attacking football, give us some excitement and make it fun to watch Celtic again. i've had enough of the boring * we have had to suffer lately. i know a lot of you think results are everything but i for one would just like to be entertained and hopefully the results would follow. you know you can entertain AND win. eg... Barcelona. what do you think?

 

Football is a results business mate. If someone like Martinez comes in we take a chance and he plays sexy football and we win nothing next season all this gtf stuff will come again on forums and radio phone ins.

yeah, but i can take sexy football for a season or 2 if i think it will be successful in the end. who says you cant have both. its only the spl * sake.

 

I'd be willing to take a chance on a relatively inexperienced manager that is likely to play more "attractive" football, but I would hope they would learn pretty quickly that results are more important than style and sometimes you just have to win ugly.

 

couldn't agree more mate, i for one would be willing to give someone a go if they played entertaining football and as you say, hopefully results would follow.

 

If Celtic try to play a quick passing game in the SPL and get it right, how many of them do you think will beat us?

 

id take either both fantastic and young and have talent , Mowbray was class at hibs then went to West brom where he was outstanding and they walked the championship a vert hard league , ok in the prem he got it wrong but you can see west brom played some outstanding footy and if had got the players he did in jan from the start of the season i think they would have stayed up,

Martinez yet again hes only 35 young some might think he is not ready but lets face it when is a manager ready ? he done a wonderful job at Swansea and they play some outstanding footy he used his contacts in spain to get some very good players there and they have had a very good season the championship ,

Either one of these managers might not be our number 1 choice if we had one but this is the type of market we are now shopping in , Wenger joinned * from japan so Martinez could be the next big thing ,

 

Would love for us to just go for Bilic. Noone else wants to come to us, the ones who do aint good enough. I see Bilic as an easy option for Lawell now. Would keep the fans happy.

 

And what's Billic done to merit the job which club has he been at , which players etc has he bought what sort of budgets has he worked under etc , the answer none he wont be coming here the board dont want him its a pipe dream by fans ,

He wont be here as he is not good enough and too much of a gamble its that simple , Martinez and Tony M fit in the celtic mould perfect and work on budgets that we do thats why there top of the pile ,
