dont go on the deffensive because i think your fav holiday destination aint up to much .

just not my scene mate , hardly any pubs or night clubs , one irish bar and we was in mixed company so we didnt go to either one of the old firms pubs .

each to there own . we all have opinions i thought thats what forums are all about ,

 

It's not my favourite,just i've got a flat there pal!!!hardly any pubs or nightclubs you must be blind,1 irish bar in puerto rico,i could name at least 8!!!!

not blind mate just looking for a good time and i didnt get one at any of the hundreds of bars clubs and irish bars that you seem to know of .

more a family place and i was there on a stag do .

so as you can see this is why i didnt find it that great .

great place for the llikes of yourself with kids and that mate , but not for a crowd of guys

 

As i have said you should have went on a 2 euro taxi ride to the commercial centre and you would have found,,,1=Flannigans apple,2=the shamrock,3=mcgurgans,4=whiskey joes,5=the huddle bar,6=the hoops bar,7=dicey reilly's,8=the celtic tavern and 9= molly malones!!!!wheres ma prize,i gave you 9!!!

 

what all them in that wee centre down at the bottom . i sure as * didnt see them bud .

the one up the stairs is the only one i can really remember .thats the main one anyway i think .

 

The shamrock ,dicey reilly's and molly malones are a stones throw from each other on the second floor,the huddle is up next to the chinese!!the others are scattered about!!!

 

well great observation . im sure you get a great view of them all from your flat over there ,

sorry if i missed 1 or 2 irish bars .

You should of went to Playa del ingles if thats your scene mate, peurto rico known to be the quiet part of gran canaria. Playa does be kicking all day every day and night, the irish Centre and the kasbah centre open to all hours and theres hardly a family in sight. Been there twice in the last few years and you struggle to keep up with the pace. My apartment block was busy 24-7 with drunken louts

 

Orite mate i was thinking of interrailing with my mates next year. Have you done it before? How much cash is needed and all that jazz, if you could pm me some info or something it would be appreciated. cheers.

I've never been to Peurto Rico, been to Gran Canaria though, loved it.

My brother said PR was the gay capital of the islands.

Playa del ingles is the gay capital my friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I've been there, never seen any of that mate tbh.

My brother was accosted by a few gay guys in PR, in different seemingly straight bars.

I think the bufties prefer Peurto Rico.

Ah hope he set about them,,i have been going to Gran Canaria for 10 years and i honestly have'nt seen any poofs in Puerto Rico,,i can honestly say i have'nt seen any in Playa Del Ingles either,,,but there are gay night clubs and bars in Playa,,,none of that in Puerto rico :icon_mrgreen:
