I want someone who plays good football to be honest, big name or not. All the managers we've been seriously linked with seem to have this trait.

this guy is mooted for Portsmouth though, think we could also be in his range, not saying I want him in or anything but if he is interested in Pompey he would come here IMO. Therefore this proves any thought we aren't big enough wrong - the board will just go for the manager they think is right.

I think we should have a not bothered option.

Wim Jansen wasn't and he did well
MON was deemed to be and he did well
Big Jock did brilliant and being Celtic minded wasn't a issue then

So there we have 3 different people and I have yet to find anything but an overwhelming majority of support for them all.

To say No is like saying we need an outsider which could be costly
To say Yes would be minimising our options which could be costly.

Your Poll will be slanting towards the no's then if you are going to bunce the not bothered/doesn't matter in with them.
My answer would not be no as this would rule out any Celtic minded manager which may be fall into the category of not bothered as long as we are winning and are making progress.

Where's the option for "Don't care because it's not important?"

Sure it would be nice if the new man knew about Brother Walfrid and was able to sing The Fields of Athenry and all that.

But the most important thing is that we return as an attractive and effective football team.

Do I think the manager needs to be Celtic minded? Definitely no.

Do I think that the manager should play football "the Celtic way"? YES 100%

Success if obviously the most important factor in the job, but I want a manager that will play attractive forward moving football.

Whether he is a Celtic man walking in the door doesn't make a difference. We all know he'll be a Celtic man by the time he leaves.

Neil Lennon is Celtic Minded although I don't think you need to be like him to be manager.

In my eyes the new manager has to know how big the club is and how important the fans are. Thats the aim for me. Which isn't necessarily Celtic minded.

as i explained in an earlier post, this celtic minded stuff is being used by the gutter trash in the media as a means to allude to the fact that we are bigots

in the daily ranger today the hotline yet again starts with some line about celtic minded, whatever that means!

these evil twisted rat bag trashcan dwelling troglodyte inbreeds have the cheek to keep spouting this * to a nation of non thinkers who believe it

they are happy to perpetuate a myth that celtic fans want a fully paid up roman catholic manager, whilst a lot of fans may want that, the public utterances suggest we want an ex player or someone who grew up supporting the club means that we dont care what their religious background is as long as they have an affiliation with the club (i dont care I just want the best we can get)

the problem for these trashbags is that they cant differentiate between their own favourites, the bigot franchise from satans sewers, whose own phrase of "right good rangers man" means british bulldog (preferably if they look and smell like one) protestant! which is a tragedy for the protestant faith because rangers have replaced that church as a faith for those dirtbags.

when we say a celtic man, we mean an ex player or fan, but hey, why tell the truth in a paper when you can insinuate bigotry!

i have had enough of this, we should stop using the phrase (was hugh keevins responsible for its first public outing in the 90's?) as it is used to demean us by lowlife pondscum

Should have made it a secret poll. Plenty of people thinking it but won't admit to it.
