    seems like most of u guys would'nt be happy with this guy. Personally i believe it is who we will end up with. The board will have a transfer budget of around 8-10 mil for this year and thats pushing it, i think this guy can work with this budget, he has a great talent for bringing in young players from spain.

    IF its him give him a chance nothing to suggest hes not gd swansea currently play gd football but not consistently

    Would love Billic or Mowbray, but wouldn't be disappointed if we got Levein or Martinez.
    I look at Martinez and see great potential, he still has a lot to prove, but sometimes you have to take a gamble, where would Leceister have been without taking a gamble on Martin O'Neill?
    I think we have to be realistic, Celtic are a huge club in terms of world wide support & history, but in the modern game we can't compete with the lower half of the EPL or Championship teams in terms of sponsorship & tv revenue.
    Moyles & Keane are out of our price range, we need a manager that can work to a budget similar to what Martinez has been working with & still manage to play skillful exciting football.
    If he comes I will be 100% behind him.

    i would prefer bilic though i still think martinez is only one of a few names we are looking at , the fact that swansea have came out with our aproach means nothing realy , we could have aproached a few clubs though they might not be as amaturish as swansea have been to go to the press.

    I voted no, but the more I hear and read about this guy, well, I'd be happy for him to take over.

    Yup, I personally don't know anything about Martinez/Swansea but there are some very impressive statements coming from pretty respectable sources. I'm warming to the guy!

    One thing about Tommy Docherty, he calls a spade a spade.....Always did. If he thinks Martinez team played some great football then i for one will take notice.

    He's been quoted saying positive things about Celtic and that he would naturally be interested in the job and he talked almost as if he had decided on Celtic already and just needed to clear up things with his current club.

    I have a feeling that he might be on board for this and I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes our manger before the week ends. :50:

    To be honest, I really only want Bilic to be our next manager.

    BUT

    seeing how the board are too scared to pay extra for someone that WE want in I dont see Martinez being a bad choice. Hes not got the experience I know....also the fact that hes younger than the huns captain but I think hes got good ideas and likes to play football. All we need now is the bpard to splash a little cash:50:
