Why are people attracted to Bilic?

I think most fans are excited about bilic because at the time he was the biggest name being touted about,,* knows who it will be but i'd love to know how many have been mentioned 30-40??it would be even more interesting to know which managers have applied for the job...

Anyway i only want him at Parkhead because he has an abundance of potential and could find his true home at Celtic Park, i remember him speaking very foundly about what he described as the Catholic team in Britain and how he would like to sign for them, this was when he was a player.

Out of all the managers I have heard linked with the job he is certainly top, I hope to * that the press arent building up our expectations only for us to sign McGhee, Curbishly, etc etc etc

i cant see what the big attraction is tbh. international football is different to club footbal especially the spl. granted he seems to have potential but so do coyle, martinez, mowbray etc. he doesnt strike me as any better than these guys

 

coyle martinez and mowbray have not managed at the highest level bilic has.....you cannot get any higher than international level.....

 

So why did Klinsmann * up at Bayern?

 

What you gotta remember is that Bilic was Quoted in the papers ages ago saying he wanted to manage the hoops, think it was when Croatia had the double header with england so its not like its just something that has sprung up because there is a job going, the guy mentioned this ages ago.

 

but he also had a higher level of player to manage not some of the dross we have on the books just now. also i reckon CL football is near enough the same level as international in the group stages and higher than it once you get into the last 8

 

does that mean we should be lookin at the likes of keegan hoddle klinsmann then, didnt think so

 

no because they are not top class managers

keegan - nearly but never done anything with newcastle or england

hoddle - media hyped him up coz he managed england not a talented manager in my opinion.

klinsmann - novice in my opinion

at least bilic has progressed his side to a very decent level with minimum resources...takes someone special to do that mate.

 

i wouldnt say minimal resources croatia havesome really top class players and the rest are very decent at least. it could be argued that it would take someone special to take burnley into the premiership too

 

why would it take someone special to take burnley into the premiership have they not been there or there abouts in the play off places over the last few seasons..i don't disrespect owen coyle but the guy could not win the first division here what makes him think he can win the SPL and do so every season he would be here !!

He's an up and coming manager who wears his heart on his sleeve. Thats why I want him here.

 

So its more about his personalty rather than managerial ability?

He's proved he has managerial ability with Croatia. Obviously has alot to learn, and can only get better. Why not get better at Celtic Park?. He wouldn't be linked with every job going if he didn't have ability.
