When will we announce the new manager??

Obviously every Celtic fan is wondering who the next manager is going to be.

What I want to know is WHEN do you lot think we will appoint whoever it may be? first thing on Monday morning? two weeks? next month???

Of course I want us to get the best man we can, and getting a manager who is already under contract takes time, but all this waiting is doin ma heid in!

 

Sometime next week i reckon.

 

Over the next week I'd hope.

 

Within the next 2 weeks I'd imagine.

 

I hope its soon and a good couple of weeks before the qualifiers so we can get a good few players in and get the team settled hopefully

 

This is doing my * box in, demanding a DECENT manager within days?

get a * grip, your asking for somethin special, yet your expecting it to happen in a matter of days?

sort yourselfs out and wait, it wqont take too long for them to appoint a decent manager who will hopefully take us places that no other manager has

 

Agreed. These things don't happen in the a few days. They take time.

 

Keep on waiting....Reid just siad the board ain;t gonna rush and they gonna take their time to appoint the right manager....bascially they are gonna wait till the transfer window nears closing and then appoint someone like McGhee, Lambert or John Collins....

 

Monday morning I reckon, but jesus if it's like the Tamas deal we'll be half way through the world cup

It'll be next week... We might have a manager this weekend but we'll know after the Tommy Burns match...

aslong as its before next friday 05/06, to give the new manager some time to sort stuff out, before cl qualifiers

 

What I want to ask is: If the board knew that WGS was intending to leave after the last league game (they knew about this back in January apparently)...how come we don't have a ready replacement? WGS was in place after O'Neill left almost immediately. This could mean that the manager we are after is still with a club and Celtic are working on things on the quiet so as to avoid an 'tapping' rows. Could it be someone no-one has mentioned yet? Or someone like Trond Sollied they are trying to lure from Heerenveen ? I would love this guy or Billic but I fear it may be a Mowbray or a McGhee.

 

Sooner the better I'd say,,gotta give the new boss time to figure out everything he wants,,needs before the CL qaulifiers..If the board leaves it till a few weeks from the qaulifiers then we will struggle to go through,,act now Lawwell and Co.so the new boss can gel and be comfortable in his new surroundings..

 

Next week hopefully, but as long as it takes to get the right man for the job in.
