I went with Mowbray, realistically the best option.

What is it with Billic! Have I missed something! He hasnt manged a club yet!

I'd choose Wenger - he really has the Celtic spirit.

So does Guardiola, but his heart is in Catalunya. :50:

OK, OK, I realise neither of those is realistic, but neither is Davie Moyes or Bilic.

    Out of the list above:

Owen Coyle : Has done exceptionally well at Burnley, in both the league and the cup, and could be a future star. Would do for me.
Tony Mowbray : Would have us playing some nice football, but not convinced he'd have us winning trophies.
Mark McGhee : Have a lot of time for the guy, he would love the job, but I'm not convinced he has the track record.
Craig Levine : I know Tannadice is a far cry from Paradise, but I'm not sure he is committed to the Celtic style of play.
Alan Curbishley : Very interesting option. He certainly has the pedigree - achieved amazing things with Charlton, has a great eye for a player, and a long track record of achievement with limited funds (which is what we have). His only other job? Saving West Ham from almost certain relegation.
Paul Lambert : Doesn't have the track record.
Neil Lennon : Doesn't have the track record, and I don't think he has the necessary guile to be a top manager.
Roy Keane : Would sooner see George Bush as Celtic manager.
David Moyes : Would have him in a moment, but he's currently in charge of the 5th team in the world's wealthiest league, and getting paid 3 million a year for the privilege. His next employer will probably be Man U.

Ruling out Moyes, my preferred options would be:
Curbishley, who is the best manager on the list by a margin.
Coyle, who I think has the most potential, and who is also a Celtic fan.

Voted for Owen Coyle but would be amazing if we got David Moyes. To be totally honest i don't expect us to get either of them. Big Tony Mowbray looks the favorite & i'll give him my backing if he steps up.

Coyle is the current favourite, around 2/1 on the exchange.

Mowbray about 4/1 - and the 3rd favourite is David O'Leary, who doesn't figure in the poll.

apart from Moyes, the rest are a step down in CV terms from WGS. Backwards step to get a manager who has no European experience and less successful EPL experience than WGS had. If the board are looking at Championship/yo-yo fodder like Coyle, Mowbray, McGhee, Grant etc ghod help us. Of the cheapies, Levein impresses me most and can clearly do a good SPL job which will be the priority (Europe IMO is never priority when you are not champs.

BTW, its pure idiocy the way the list is full of ex-Celts. That is no way to pick a list of options. Jock Stein wouldnt have got a sniff in that baised (illegal?) employment policy.

Only one for me is Moyes- he is the only one thats a bit proven, Mogga !!, even the WGS haters would admit that he has a worse reecord trying to keep an EPL alive, so not for me

For gimmick purposes, I voted for Lennon.

But, in all seriousness the choice is David Moyes.

I would go for Owen Coyle just for the fact that he would be able to teach our strikers how to score.
