In talks at the mo , strach wants him to stay but i don't mind if he goes , as the team is speeding up , so out with the old and in with the speed bhoys , also pearson set to leave for £200,000 , varga off to germany , agathe fell out with strach and is off aswell , gutted about that coz i think he would be better than telfer, and i can say a good few will be out in a few days , but i heard a new guy is in trials with us for a few day's let's hope he's good , Hail hail comment's please!!

 

Great player+I would be very sad if he went what a player! +How ?? do you know all off this m8 coz I've checked everything on the Net and TV+Cable+Celtic's Offical Website and they all say the same m8,The club are wanting Sutton to extened his contract after June-2006(but if Everton do want Sutty they should pay up to at least £3million or even 4 Chris Sutton can play in Three Positions Striker-main one but good at the back(centre-half+in Midfield ball winner so his fee should be about that in my opinion!

Sutton can still do a job for us for years to come. He can play almost anywhere too at a high level. Why would we want to sell him?

 

Been a great servant for us but his passion to Celtic has dropped big and is not putting in the performances he should be. Also he's picking up injuries left , right and centre now and it's best to get rid of him and his massive wages.

 

doubt sutty will go to everton - the guy is a class player and more importantly he knows it himself. he wouldn't go near a team like everton that are playing *.

besides - i thought he said he'd like to return home to norwich when his time at celtic ended?...

If Sutty's does go I wonder what replacement GS would try and get coz trying to find a player who can play in 3 positions will be very hard to come across Defence+Midfielder+Striker What a player Chris Sutton has been for us I remember that goal he scored to Whitewash Rangers that year-then on 90-mins Sutton comes up with a peach of a goal to win any Match seems like Yesterday he done that and now he might leave!

 

IMO we could be doing with big Sutty in defence at the moment, he has allways been solid for us at the back, mite be the answer to our defensive problems

 

id far rather big sutty stayed,i think hes a great player,can play any position,and when hes fully fit he plays really well!

 

This is the thing though, he HAS been a great player but to me he's getting on (age wise) and is picking up too many injuries for my liking and why pay a player who is one of our biggest earners around 30k for to sit on the sidelines injured?. He is better to move on now imo.

 

this is a tough situation - if Sutty is fit he plays (according to GHS) but the end must come sometime. How do we figure out what the overall net gain or loss has been in relation to a player? I mean when Sutty scored against the Huns in that first game he looked like he had just repaid his fee. Then he went on to do so much more. I know he gets a fair chunk of change for wages but if he were to go now would we really gain the worth of his wages? I think he can still do a job for us and then retire to Norwich in 2008.

 

Sutton is on around 28000 pounds a week, at 4.3 weeks in a month thats 120400 pounds, in a year it equates to 1,448,000 pounds, there is NO way I would play a part time employee that kind of money.
I am no fan of the majority owner or board, but they did sign Keane great, I hope to * they sell Sutton, but you watch no team south of the border would pay near that for him, same as the bullshit rumours about teams wanting Balde ffs lets get real here! *
I might end up some day to being an apologist Celtic board supporter that is, anyhoo send Sutton south of the border noo!

 

I watched Sutton impact last night and the guy is immense. He can still a job for us here.
