it could be worse we could get mark mcgee
lets give him a chance. see what he can do, it shows he wants to here and not just here for the money as he has a chance to manage a premiership side with proberly a higher transfer budget than us!

a lot of lower league managers do the same go that extra bit against big teams in cup ties i still think its a meaningless set of results coz cup ties are so competitive down anyone could beat anyone its nothing remarkable if the likes of burnley beat liverpool or anyone else it happens every year. i just don't think he is ready for all the responsibility that comes with the celtic job and you know the minute he has a bad run its gonna completely backfire on him and the board its just a lil too risky at the moment for my liking.

I know cup shocks are a part of modern football but 4 times in 1 season isn't coincedence. He has built a hard woking, attacking, passing team from nothing. I understand that you think he is too young but thats a risk we have to take. Folk said Levein was too young and look at him now.

The problem is there is a missing step in his rise, a huge missing step Scottish 1st division-English championship-Celtic. At the very least you would want a proven couple of years at SPL or preferably EPL level like WGS and MON had. For all we know he would crash straight down to yhr championship after one season like handfulls of other possible managers. So Coyle got to the playoffs. So what, so has Mogga and he has the EPL and SPL experience too. At least Mogga has done SPL and EPL stints, the former with some real credit at youth development. Maybe Mogga doesnt want it but his CV is a lot more full of useful experience than Coyles. I am just amazed he would be judged on one year at any sort of credible level and given a plum management job.

Sky Sports has an article online saying that Celtic are interested at Coyle but have not made a formal approach.
