I dont understand why Sammy and Jan get all the flack for being pish but McDonald gets off with pish performances majority of the time.
Skippys good when he's on the ball and can hold the ball up well but he's a lazy, moany * who isn't good enough for Celtic. Fair enough he has a good goal scoring record but we could do so much better.

At one point today, he was literally 2 foot away from the Hibs player on the ball but because it never went straight too him he strolled back with that stupid look on his face that says im a spoilt brat.

 

he is a funny player? one game or two he plays well and next you know he has a few where he does nothing! and to think jan gets it tight!

TBH I think all our strikers are pure *!! Sammy is getting singled out because he was the topic of the thread. Skippy is pish, JVOH is hopeless and Sammy isn't any worse or better.

All of them are guilty of slack passing, missing the target when it would be easier to score and just looking as if they don't give a *.

 

Thats what we've got to work with fellas! Not a lot compared to what we used to have, but the law of averages say we'll find a good striker sooner that later!!

 

as someone mentioned in the match thread samaras is a confidence player and at the moment i think that he is suffering from a huge lack of self confidence.
Look at the goals he scored for us when he first came here, he was scoring for fun ffs! Why? Because he had just signed a big deal with a massive club and his confidence was soaring!
I can guarantee that when he gets his confidence and self belief back he'll score a barrel load of goals for us

 

In my opinion SAMARAS is the worst striker at this club for 10 years honestly he has the touch of a wall looks scared to put the boot in , never lifts his head when on the ball it baffels me how this lad gets to wear the famous jersey and gets paid for it .

it wasn't BROWN -who lost the ball or ran backwords everytime we saw him

or hartley whos only reaction when he seen the ball was to panic and pass the ball backwords

or skippy who had two great chances

or naylor who is the worst left back ive seen

or mcgeady whose end product today was ridiculous

or nakamura whose wasted about 80 corners all season includeing today

Sammy is better than FLETCHER, BOYD, RIORDEN, JVOH, SHERIDEN & if he had a good run in our team without his injury he'd be on 20+ goals. Thats a CERT. (ps. I still think he's * ha)

Brown - Injured

Hartly - Played well in patches but kept playing the ball back to much.

Skippy - Should have put at least one away the second one would have been hard enough. Although he is a great striker and has proven himself.

Nayler - Just * in general !

McGeady - Your right about his performance today.

Naka - Didnt * up on corners today ?

As for the previous season, all skippy proved is that you do not need talent, just determination to score a * load in Scotland. Unfortunately this season, he has relied on his talent and the rest is history.

I think all Celtics strikers are extremely poor. Skippy as poor as Samaras but for different reasons. JHOV worse then the both./ I will repeat - Skippy has scored only one more goal than Samaras this season, but played over 1100 minutes more. If Samaras is bad than what the * is Skippy? That is a total disgrace for Celtic's regular starting forward/

 

Skippy is a decent striker and he has indeed proved himself. He scores a * load of goals, whats a strikers job ?
He runs himself into the ground for the team.

Yeah, he has only scored one more goal than Samaras. At the start of the season Samaras was playing well and netting goals for fun but its gone well down hill now. Skippy has not only bein banging in the goals but has also played well and showed his determination to win through out the season.

 

Can't disagree bar the Naka comment today. His set pieces were the only good thing we had.

 

Sammy the tranny, i've never disliked a celtic player as much as him, i really really wish he's punted in the summer, he is so bad, that run of form he had was so out of character.
It just that anyone could score goals playing with Celtic if only we went out and payed for someone with talent
