I don't care whether Strachan is good enough or not. I just want to see a new manager come in the fresh things up. I personally think Strachan is tactically inept, cannot identify his best 11, plays players out of position way too often, and has a poor eye for talent.
Also his style of football hs got so pish to watch this season and we have resorted to buying players like Flood and McCourt.

Someone new should come in and sell all this deadwood. Also I have had it with moaning McDonald. His first touch against hibs again was ridiculous.. Also, I was not even aware Jan came on for Samaras since he was since annonymous. Oh and tlking about Samaras, is just a donkey, cannot even dribble properly. Mick is a walking disaster, I mean even an unfit Bobo Balde would probably be better.

Also why not aim higher. People say no one will want to come, but who to say that we won't be able to attract a top manager. I am not saying we go for someone like Mourinho or Hiddink. But realistically if we went for someone like Claudio Ranieri, Louis Van Gaal or Martin Jol....is that really unrealistic. I mean we ain;t gonna know until it happens but I hope they try and find a top manager rather then submit to getting another unexperienced small-time manager.

    oh now come on:31:
the reason our team is very average is because strachan is not given any money im sure he wants money to spend but the board will not give him it
this guy has done a brilliant job with the resources available and one blip in the league shouldnt change that
i bet it would be a different story if we were 2 points ahead going into the final day of the season

I think winning and playing * is probably just a wee bit more acceptable, but losing the league and playing the football that we've had to suffer for a good while despite the odd decent bit of play is awful.

I don't think people would be half as angry if we had a lead, but we don't!!

If Strachan left over the summer, I'd quite like to see Mourinho get the job.

I for one hope Strachan is our manager for many years to come, but if he does leave (couldn't blame him with the way the fans treat him) we'll be in deep *. The best we could hope for is a guy like Craig Levein, someone with no experience at all at the top level. He'd have to build an entirely new team from scratch which will always suffer teething problems (just look at Strachan's first year). If Strachan does leave, we're about to enter what could potentially be one of the most disastrous periods in the clubs history. And it will be hilarious to see the same people who forced him out BEG for him to come back once they realise what they've lost.

I'm not even sure we could get Levein. The Celtic job will be one of the least appealing in the world right now. Other managers will look at the level of success achieved by Strachan and think, "what the * would I have to do to win over the fans? No thanks."

Firstly, who the * is David Moyles? If you are going to suggest someone, at least spell their * name right!

Its a PLC, you pump in your own money and you can be on the board.

The realistic alternatives dont fill me with any confidence at all

Who would you say are the realistic options and why would they not fill you with confidence?

    Mowbray, Levein, McGhee anyone else?

Out of those 3 I'd only take Levein

If people are trying to convince me that Strachan cant take Celtic "to the next level" and these are the candidates that could, I think they need to stay off the drugs.

The only way I could see any of them exceeding or even matching what Strachan did is by reaping the benefits of the long planning by the club.

I don't think any of them can take us to "the next level", on our budgets I just don't think that's possible but I think we have become too predictable under Strachan and maybe it's time for some new ideas.

I don't want Strachan to get the sack but if he decides to leave then I don't think I'd be too disappointed purely due to the poor standards of football we have witnessed this year - I don't blame Strachan solely for that but he does have to take part of the blame.

I also believe that a lot of people won't realise how much he has succeed until after he's gone which is a real shame but could you blame him for walking when you consider what he has to put up with (from the fans and the board)
