Anyone fink its worth trying McManus there? Cos it seems like WGS is always gonna play him, and im sure i heard somewhere that he originally played there anyway.
Plus, Caldwell and Loovens seems to be the best partnership in the middle!

    * no mcmanus cant run to save himself and imagine hoping for him to run at players to cross a ball for mcdonald in the centre. naylor would be better playing there than mcmanus.

Not a chance, if you think Naylor is bad at lumping the ball up the park you aint seen nothing yet.

I know mick made his debut at lb but he was terribkle and not a left back but I do think 3-5-2 would be good for us.

No to Mick at LB - probably the worst player at Celtic with the ball at his feet..

    And no to 3-5-2!

We dont have a problem with the left back position. As i've said numerous times before. The wingers need to track back and give support, which mcgeady looks incapable of. Defo wouldnt play McManus there. Would try Misun, even tho he has appeared at centre half for the reserves, he was signed as a left back.

Defo wouldn't go 3-5-2 as another person said on this topic. defo gotta keep 4 at the back

:shamrock: ARTUR BORUC CELTIC'S NUMBER 1 :shamrock:
Mick at left back would be a absolute joke , he's slow , no composure , can't deliver a ball , would get DESTROYED at left back , i agree with the comment that Caldwell & Loovens are our best partnership , although Loovens did come under a bit of critacism when he first came into the team he's SOLID now ! ! !

This is the problem with Scottish football. Misun is supposed to be massive and therefore we stick him at centreback. Why can't we keep him at left back and let him develop the skills for that position? It doesn't matter whether or not the reserves win matches.

LB has to run forward. McManus can't even run to the centre of the pitch. And you also need a bit of skill, speed, creativity and intelligence to be a full-back.

Yes to 3-5-2, no to Mick at LB. Korean/Japanese LB-s will solve the problem.

Can we get this thread deleted? lol Nah only joking, but i'd rather re-sign Mo Camara than put Mick in at LB, scary stuff
