    Got this off BBC-Sport-Scotland(Pasted it:52: )
How can clubs see him play if hes not playing
but i think Thompson has had his time with
Celtic just as long as we get a few Million-
pounds from this+hes not really played
great this season. What do Yous think
    stay or sell???

[IMG] Thompson has 18 months left on his contract with Celtic

Celtic's Alan Thompson is attracting interest from the English Premiership, with one club poised to make an offer for the player, according to his agent.
Anthony McGill told BBC Scotland he would be discussing Thompson's future with Celtic's chief executive Peter Lawwell on Tuesday.
Thompson has not been a regular starter under Gordon Strachan.
"There are Premiership clubs interested and I've an offer I'm taking to Celtic today," added McGill.
He stressed that Celtic had not made Thompson available for transfer and, therefore, he was not actively touting the player.
But he added: "I've told those interested that they have to speak to Celtic and I won't be doing anything until I'm told otherwise by Celtic.
"Alan wants to play football and he is happy to stay and fight for his place."
McGill also poured scorn on a newspaper report linking the player with a move to Derby County. "Alan Thompson is not happy about that story. We have not spoken to anyone at Derby and there are far bigger clubs than Derby interested," he said.

Let him go, been a good servant but he's now a liability and isn't up too it. If we get anything for round about 500k a'd bite the hand off them.

I take any decent offer for him, but it has to be for what he's worth and not just flog him to any club.

I think we dont need any replacments unless something exceptional falls into our lap. Pearson, Nakamura, McGeady & Maloney are enough, unless Pearson is off aswell then I'd get someone else

no point in him wasting our memories of when he was good here by staying when hes not too good. he doesnt fit in to Strachans system and i think he should go

Great player in his day but has lost the plot a bit recently. Take the money and bring in a younger player.

Yep, not too bothered if he leaves, his good performances are becoming a distant memory, I think the quote about Bigger clubs than Derby suits Thommo to a tee, he still believes he's a big time player!!!

I think sell him. We'll remember his goals against the huns with fondness. Still it sounds like his agent is just trying to drum up interest in him. I doubt theres many premiership clubs interested.
