It's in their hands now, we've got to hope they drop points.

It's not Peter Lawwell's job to go out and get us players. He has no say in who we sign.

Just depressing, that 'short space' of the season (Nov-Feb) when we had a blip (were deadful) has cost us. Only 8 or 9 of the squad are worth keeping, the rest just praise Strachan at press conferences to ensure their place. Today isnt where we lost the league its all those games we threw away the lead.

Take note that in 5 attempts this season we've only beaten them once in 90 mins and only been ahad once in 90 mins. This is the Rangers team we've been taking the * out of all season.

TBH we just need to win every game, score as much as possible and hope they lose or draw one. I for one will still be supporting the club and manager even if we don't win the league but I think we need to make a few decent signings in the summer just to solidify our position as the strongest team in scotland.

There is no way anyone watching that game today could argue that the huns looked better than us (except for a hun), they scraped through and if we had got a brake and scored we would have went on and won. Naka was excellent today.

They are scared of us, after they got the goal they defended and tried to frustrate its so negative but thats all walter knows how to play.

I don't think its about blame we played the best but they had the luck, hopefully there luck has ran out. Lawell has been great for Celtic so I don't think that he should be getting pelters cos' of one defeat.

My mistake but hes the 1st person to come out and tell us about blue chip signings....or is that only when its time to renew our season tickets.

Couldn't agree more with that :50: keep the Faith not an easy run in for us or them in the final hurdle, they'll slip up.

I've read your post 3 times and still cannot find one word I disagree with.

Well said that man. I'm not going to point the finger solely at Strachan, but rather at the mentality within our club. We sat back gloating for months on end at the troubles our rivals were enduring but that gloating looks like it could come back to haunt us in the worst possible way.

What does it say about us if we cannot capitalise on a 7 point lead and have now ceeded a 9 point swing to our biggest rivals. Rivals who have severe finiancial problems, who have a team who are technically inferior to us and who jump from crisis to crisis...honestly, what does it say about us?

To all those who say "Keep The Faith" and that we have to hope they drop points.....we should not be in the position where we have to rely on others now for us to win the league.

To be honest I think the draw at Celtic Park has come back to haunt us. We should have blown them away that day and we were lifeless. Failing to score against them at home in that game when they were even worse than us seems to have cost us dearly! Put extra pressure on this game and we didn't react well!! that being said we've no choice but to get behind the lads for the last three games!! Every one is a cup final then the rest is going to be down to their ability to handle the pressure!! HAIL HAIL

No we shouldn't but the fact is we are and need to keep the faith and beleive in the players or we might as well have presented the huns with the trophy today.

It's not an ideal position but we can still do it and now the pressure is on them, lets see if they can handle it being in the driving seat.:47:

I'm in complete disbelief. To think that they're even close to us at this point in the season is hard for me to get my head around, nevermind that they're actually ahead, but I guess that's a commentary on the strength of the league at large. We're really and truly going to have to take a long hard look at ourselves, regardless. There's a lot of football to be played, we've got to keep the faith. Remember that we overcame much stiffer odds last season. If all else fails, hopefully Dundee United will step up and stop Rangers from celebrating on their turf like we did last year.

I agree that the board, if we lose the league, have to shoulder a fair part of the blame. Losing when we are at our richest point in history, against a club on their knees, is just unforgivable for me.

To have the opportunity twice this season to go 10 points clear, to where we are today, is also unforgivable.

We have a central midfield with nothing to offer going forward, and the goals return from them is absolutely shocking.

All of a sudden we're praying they slip up for us to win the title. Shocking state of affairs.

    Thanks for the feedback.

Ive been trying to look at it a objectivley as I can but its becoming so frustrating, Ive stopped posting as much because I dont like being negative Ive seen so many games this season that weve been so soft and the manager refuses to comment on it and continues to tell me its all OK and that we played great.

The signing policy has been dreadful also and the level of player we are bringing in is declining. Ive spent the last few months explaining to my friends that I dont think we'll win the league as we look so soft and cannot capitalise on their slip-ups. I didnt want to be right but it reminds me so much of 4 years ago when we were 5pts clear with 5 games left and blew it.

I hope we still win the league but I dont know if I can face another season of this apathy.

we nedd to look forward not back and with anyl uck rangers will drop points against hibs and it will be back in our hands in so many games this season we have been on top for long periods of time and not been clinical. we proved that we have better ball players today but we are notaswell orginised and lack the work rate. you can have the most talented players in the world but if they dont work hard you have a nothing team. we should not have lost the game today and if rangers win the title there is only group to blame....ourselves.

I dont want to have to keep the faith that they will drop points, I want us to go out and win the league because we are a good team. Of course we will support the team at each game but to be in this position is a disgrace and something is very wrong at the club.
