Because pharmaceutical companies are in a wee crisis, so they need to come up with a excuse that will bring them millions.

I think its a massive case of scaremongering and no way as bad as we're being told, cause if it was THAT bad countries would shut their borders and noone would be allowed to leave or enter.

Like the bird flu, think it's a case of over-reacting.

The W.H.O. have raised the alert to level 5 of six, meaning a pandemic is looming.

My question is,if they know it's looming why are they not giving out advise to close travel links and borders?

There could be many reasons, i just wonder if its to do with the fact either A,they cant be prepared as much as they like the general public think or B, There's no danger of a massive outbreak on the scale seen in the spanish flu and many more besides.

What are the protocols for something like this anyway? Do we know how to deal with a worldwide pandemic or is it left to each individual government to take measures. (If the latter then because of economy issues and the like then you can understand the caution given with regards to closures ect)

Well what i think is it will infect a lot of people, but it'll do no harm than a regular flu.

Only thing i have a grudge about is the adverts, i wonder how much money went into them for an advert about common sense.

Ahh yeah i get that point, its all awareness i guess, common sense need not apply to everyone as we well know..

Anyway guys take it to the new thread, already there's one or two good points here.

Just keep it safe is all i ask. :icon_mrgreen:
