    I don't see why people think it's such a far out idea that this epl2 thing could happen, it's highly feasible imo and i think it would do the game a power of good.

    I think the huns would get a knock back though lol

    The FA doesn't decide what Celtic's identity is, we do and it's only as strong/weak as we make it. We fly Tricolours and Saltires and let them know what our dentity is and that won't change, if the FA wanted to change hat, Celtic would leave the FA, of that I have little doubt. Celtic have decent prestige and rep in Europe on footballing ability with the money on a decent Championship team, I want us to go that one step further and Celtic need money to do that, as money comes moreand more into football, the EPL, La Liga, Seria A and Bundesliga are starting to get further and further away from smaller leagues as more money is invested in them. I just don't want Celtic to miss that boat.

    If there's a "big 6" instead of a "big 4" then it would be economic suicide for teams to plan for Champion's League money... they'd have to plan for Europa League money making it more competitive for the lower teams. I think that was their reasoning at least... also because they think we'll energize the crowds, whatever that means.

    This might be a situation where the smaller clubs kind of gang up together to do something the big 4 don't like for once.

    For the record, I'm completely against it. We'd sacrifice glorious European nights every year for the stable money of Englishmen watching us on TV and paying money for the privelidge. No matter what people say, it will always be difficult for us to break the big 4.

    Would love to see it happen. Scottish football would die without the old firm but i rekon within 5years of playing down there, old firm would become the biggest clubs in the world. I think Celtic potentially could become bigger than Manchester United. Uefa and probably the police down there would be against it due to logistical problems. The reason i would love it to happen is because it means we could bring big names to the club, the majoirty of players dont want to play in Scotland. If we were in England i can guarantee big names would join us and we would have the money to do so. Any one whos against this happening just realise whats better for Celtic and not the fans.

    Only downfall would be the money its going to cost to get to the games and the price of the season tickets would rocket. As for the english fans i wouldnt like to see them as they would probably bring trouble to Glasgow.

    i want to make something quite clear here? celtic fc are a scottish team! FACT! we have a proud irish heritage aswell so this celtic are an irish club thing ! watch the history dvd because we are not an irish club playing in scotland.

    i think there is something bad ready to happen financialy in the epl and they are useing this * excuse of inviting us and the scum of the earth to play in it!

    i think sky are going to stop pumping the big dosh in they get just now and now they
    want us and the scum to come down join in the epl 2 * cos then they will keep getting their money cos we are there!

    this is all about them,always is always will be!:38:

    oh and see this * with that prat jordan the crystal palace chaiman wanting us to pay to get in the thing!...........* OFF YOU CLOWN.
