Brown overrated

Think hes still to live up to the price tag and the hype

 

pish! he is probably going to win POTY imo and his passes and runs have been exellent all season, he is the only Celtic player to play every game in the league this season, you no think there is a reason for that?

 

His running and brawling is needed, just like Naka's wizard passing. Very good this season.

 

his energy, effort and battle spirit are tremendous. he's an excellent battler, but no real gifted footballer. his technique is average and his vision is limited too. a good footballer for british football, but wouldn't be near as useful in other leagues or teams with continental football philosophy like Arsenal.

 

totally agree with that but i feel that will come with age, if you think of steven gerrard at browns age he was the same as him bags of energy and effort( and the od rash tackle ) but lacked the technique and vision.

 

He will get better with age, although his technical deficiencies will always be there. he could improve his passing and shooting eventually. don't think he will ever be as good as Gerrard though.

 

he's not over-rated, ok you could say his price tag was a bit high, but he's only 23, he's got loads of time left, i think he has been our best player the season and a good investment

 

I wish we had another 9 players out there with his determination and tenacity,

 

I think with Brown at times people see what they want to see.

I think we all want him to become a player so much that when he completes a few passes we see it as a tidy game for him.

I * love Broon, his tenacity and energy are invaluable and he wins the ball so much, however his technical ability leaves alot to be desired at times. He still gives the ball away to much for me with his slack passing.

Either way, Broon has come on leaps and bounds from a tough last season but unless he works on other areas of his game, he won't progress much further than SPL level.

For other aspects of his game hes pretty much the first name on the team sheet for me.

He as fantastic energy so lazy would be the last criticism i would level at him.

His passing isnt great and neither is his finishing but he certainly gets about the park and gets in about the opposition.

 

His technical ability needs work

He has the potential to be outstanding for us.

 

Im probably way off the mark but broony kinda reminds me of Roy Keane only Keane didn't give the ball away that much. Broony is not over-rated at all mate.
