Good result for Porto especially to get the late equalizer after going 2-1 down with just 5 minutes left. Hopefully they can finish the job in the second leg.

 

Man U should be happy with a point, Porto deserved all 3 and its the best I have seen them play for a while. Thought they should of had a pen aswell. 1-1 Draw in next leg.

Tough for Utd now, didn't watch it, watched the Arsenal game but thought one of the reasons they might've struggled was the lack of Rio and Vidic but just looked at the team sheet and realized Vidic was playing.

I think that Porto is an example of HOW a Football Club should be "managed".

Look for the past 20 years. Porto does not have the money of United, Barcelona, Bayern...

Even Villarreal has more money than Porto.

However, the scout potential is amazing. Finding players like Hulk (that was playing on the lower division in Japan), Stealing Rodriguez from Benfica, discovering players like Fernando, Lucho Gonzalez, Lisandro Lopez etc. Just to talk about the squad of this season... it's a fantastic Job.

Sadly we play in Portugal. Maybe if we had some more money we could be better.

 

The way you played tonight is the way celtic should be playing away from home in europe , 4-3-3 , too many times we have been punished because we get deeper and deeper and deeper and invite pressure onto us. Playing 3 up front showed that it can work even against Man Utd

These days the most we will pay for a player is £3 million and wages are an average of 15k , thats why we are resorting to buying youth and hopefully find a few decent players for nothing , our league has gone downhill the last 3 years football wise and financially
